We just keep rubbishing our federalism.

Truth be told though, it is the southwest states that have rarely anything exclusive for its indigenes.

Growing up in the north those days, we paid school fees, etc as non-indigenes while our indigenous friends got all the favours.

May just be the way to go now.

I concur. Jobs are supposed to be meant for indigenes first like its done in d UK. Then the language shud be made official in all d schs.

Moreover, land sales to non indegens should be restricted, instead be leased or rent.

The oil companies were mandated to relocate their head offices to the Niger Delta but they refused to obey that order due to insecurity in the Niger Delta.
They chose Lagos... No problem if they want to relocate.... Lagos will always survive without their presence

It's not by force to live in Lagos. If you no like am you fit relocate to any other state wey ready to accommodate una excesses, or you can 'go to court'.
Are you an indigene of Lagos?
An Oyo State man isn't an indigene of Lagos

lol Oga there are laws state house of assembly cannot pass.It is for reasons like this that such a provision was made.

As long as you are a Nigerian, you have equal rights everywhere.Lagos is not the only state in the country housing non-indigenes BTW.and someone from Ogun state is not a lagos state indigene.

Thankfully, the court will recognise you contravening the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Na the same constitution una use prevent Bianca from representing her husband's Anambra constituency. Na him una use relegate Ebonyi people to second-class ibos. Dey play. Go and first open up SE to other ethnicities in Nigeria before yapping your mouth. I have never heard of a Benue, Efik/Ibibio or Yoruba person that attributes their success to living in SE.

Las las, if e tire you, you go relocate back to your side, where the constitution doesn't prevent you and non-ibos in your midst from being forced to sit-at-home every Monday.

Good. But beyond that if Nigeria is to go by that way even the Niger-delta oil money will be for Niger-delta states alone. They will aslo pass their own laws to control their oil resources.

I think other states should emulate this kind of bill so that everyone will know there boundaries. In fact every non indigene should pay higher tax no matter where you are lets see if everyone can return to there states.

Yeye people with nothing to talk about.

Na dem dey shout say end subsidy. Na still dem dey trek up and down. Na still dem dey beg for T-fare up and down. Untop na dem dey beg for food so up and down.

Always planning the impossible. Anyway, take your time to read Section 15 (1), (2), (3), (4) & (5) and see whether their jagbajantis plans are not contrary to the objectives of consitution.

All your rants end here on nairaland. Such laws will never make any headway hence the Niger-delta states will have long passed laws to control their oil resources and what will happen to poor states like Ekiti and Osun? How will they survive without oil money?

Law wey no go carry water. You can't sell your land to someone else and still want to claim ownership. Hope the court will do the needful when you try any rubbish. What am seeing is people that want to shoot their own selves, this will make other states to target with your own people.

The pple of America sold their land to pple coming to stay that's why we have Latino America, German American, afro American, and many more.. Does it mean America belongs to them now?... undecided
