nadico: My own little experience.I have been following the importation threads following the advice of the gurus in the house.I set out to buy an engineering tool for my use. The price I saw on aliexpress was twice the price on alibaba. I decided to give a proposal to the alibaba seller to buy a sample. I sent mails; chatted and spoke on phone with the seller on before she agreed to give me two pieces as sample. Total cost for both was cheaper than the price of one on aliexpress. Since then I have made two other on alibaba.

Which shipping method do you use, and how much?
I asked a supplier to send me a sample but the price she is quoting is very high compared to d sample. I need to have an idea of costs for shipping samples

Let me tell you this, if the Chinese wants to cheat you, there is nothing you can do about it. Its better you buy from taobao. I bought my samsung TV and most of my stuffs on taobao... its better because I can return them if its not what I want. ..btw alibaba and aliexpress told the sellers to remove branded goods like samsung and apple... some sellers do sell the original though.
I once went to a market here...wanting to buy a samsung s4 and I was told korean is 1200 and US is 2700.. hope you understand ?

Or the seller can also get you one written in English...

Not anymore coz alibaba stopped sales of branded goods ... you can only get that on taobao,1688,jd and others ..btw you can always let someone do the buying for you and help you ship it to your seller..

GTB ke? When you place order don't check out. Give your seller the order number and ask him/her to adjust the price. Then you can now check out. Only sellers have the power to adjust the price.
