zerray: please i need urgent
help,what is the general minimum
requirement for pgdip in canada?.i
need recommendation for a good and
affordable university that is very good
in social sciences courses like public
administration. and lastly for now how
do i start,im going for services this
august pls when is the best times to
start applying,i was thinking december
will that be too late?what are the
things ill need.pls im a novice,ill be
grateful for your response. @Fhemmmy

I don't know much about schools that offer PGdip in PA, but you could google "University of Victoria".
You can find lots of colleges offering PG cert in Ontario. Since most universities here have three entry's in a year, with sessions starting in September, January and May , it will be best you apply by December, April and October respectively. Requirement will defer by schools. But this the standard: bachelors degree transcript ( first class/2nd class upper), Test of English, CV, Statement of Purpose, references, fill out online application form and payment

hello House, pls i want to rely on this thread for information flow from the experienced gurus in-here as i want to embark on my Canada student visa application cos i don't have any money i can give to an agent, i belief i should be good going at the whole visa application and processing stuffs myself. I already have an offer from Lambton College.
I want to know what the next move should be, is it paying the initial deposit stated on the admission letter first before applying for visa or i can go all the way applying for visa b4 the payment.
And also, pls can some1 put me through the initial process of applying for the visa? pls everything from the basics, like a novice that i am grin
POINT TO NOTE: AM WORKING TOWARDS JANUARY

The Educational system here in Canada is way harder than Nigeria in terms of structure. This is not a country where you can just cram and then go to exam. You will not survive one semester. Everything here is application and presentation skills. You can easily get distracted, trust me. I still have a few Nigerians here still not out of University or even with a PR card and we all came together. There spent their time socializing with Nigerians and forming association of Nigerian and got distracted. Don't get me wrong, it’s good to socialize but when i realized the sacrifices my parents made and what there gave up to send me here, the least i could do is get a first class degree by making extra effort and focusing on the task at hand. If you do great in school you will end up in Toronto working for a great company.
You're a source of inspiration bros

Hello everyone, I am kinda in a gamble situation now. I am on the verge of applying to university of toronto, mcgill university and UBC for some post-graduate courses. What is left now is to pay the application fee which is about 18000 naira for each of the schools. But my issue is that how likely is it that they will admit me after paying the fees because I don't want to be at a loss. I finished with an upper credit in my undergrad. Course

Then you have no problem then oh . . . If you live in an hostel at school, it is not cheap at all, though comes with some advantages . . . But when you leave outside of the campus, say sharing like a 3 B/D Apartment and sharing kitchen and washrooms, you might be able to get something almost half what you paying within campus.
Feeding is cheaper too when you do the cooking yourself . . . . But not if you wanna be eating Eba, Fufu and Akpu oh, cos those aint cheap and you dont wanna be making the house stinks with Ogbono . . . lol
lol... Boss, you've got a pm

You typically have a to pay an application fee when you apply to schools, but you don't have to pay your tuition BEFORE they admit you. You pay your school fees after you become a student.
There is a thread in the travel section for people looking to study in Canada, which might be helpful: https://www.nairaland.com/1229480/travelling-canada-part-4
