Sometimes, their website says one thing and they implement another.

You should call them.

@Phema: BA takes you to your point of entry and after that America Airline. My wife flew BA in September. The schedule was Lagos to Elpaso. BA ended in Dallas and the connecting flight thereafter was A A.

Hello,
If you are using dr huynh at whmc, if you send her ordinary medical report, she will respond saying the info is not enough (because the medical report is like a summary). Just print that email and show your gynae at your next Antenatal appointment. Ofcourse he will say they can't give you your file etc, just say thank you sir. Then take the same email to records dept, ask for their supervisor, talk to them sweetly and politely that you don't want your file, you just need scanned copies of everyth in your file since you got pregnant. Then send them a mail saying so. The manager will work on your email request. You can follow up with phone calls.
Talk to them nicely. Smile and be pleasant. They will give you what you want without you spending a dime

Thank youuuuuuu

8 months is 32wks, 9 months is 36wks. So they are correct.

Thank you Lizcom25. Was she charged for baggage? Will she be paying extra money to AA for baby on her return leg? Or she will pay to BA at Dallas?

Well, if their maximum is 32weeks, then they will sure not be flying someone one day more than that.

we were advised to pick a non furnished one n rent d furnitures dat way is cheaper,we got a furniture company dat furnishes d bedroom, dinning, sitting room for $179 so is cheaper than taking a furnished apartment d name of d rental company is Cort u can check them out.note all I listed r one bedroom.

akelvin as per the furnishing rental company, i just looked them up the prices are scary..... will call them later. May send you a PM if u dont mind.
Thanks

I stayed at miramar apartments, got my furniture from CORT all was fine.....it all depends on your budget.

@Phema: She wasn't charged for Baggage. All her payment and ticket was with BA. I think BA has an arrangement with AA for the local trips. She will pay for the baby to BA since her return ticket is already BA

Oga we didn't say anything was wrong with cort , all I said was their package was higher than I had imagined.Bear in mind that peak and off peak season rates are quite different ... In the mean time I'm glad u had a robust budget . grin

Hi dearie. I went to Tucson for my baby's passport cuz I dint av time at hand again. Luckily d cab guy dat took me to vitals office advised I cud take a bus to and fro tucson cuz cab to tucson is like $300 if u get a good bargain. I booked my trip to tucson with greyhound express bus service. It's d same time to get to tucson as a cab also. And my ticket to tucson and back was just $15 including tax. Den I took a cab from their station to d passport agency. My appointment was for 11am, got there 10am, passport was ready by 2pm I waited there till pp was ready and went back to tempe on d last bus to phoenix. Simple. I stayed in tempe but greyhound also has a station in phoenix. Just Google greyhound express u'l see and book ur ticket. I paid online. I hope dis helps u. Will advise u take ur baby along in a baby carrier cuz dey will check in ur stroller and carseat as luggage. I dint know so I carried my baby on my laps to and fro during d bus ride. And d buses are very comfortable with Internet and charging points
. @sessibasi pls aw long is it frm phoenix to tucson?

@phema, BA has a code share with AA. You can choose ba all thru or with aa. Depending on the transit time u want. It's easier to know which is which if using the ba website

@freshface it seems we are in the same boat, I'm supposed to leave on Saturday as well. What is baffling now is that their website says after 8months, you would need a medical certificate which I'm planning to get this week from my doc. I'll be 33+a few days on Sat. I had my booking agent(wakanow.com) call their relationship manager to confirm I'll be able to fly with them and he went ahead to give me the ok before booking the ticket. Now you say I've called and they say 32weeks max? sad do they mean 32weeks max with or without a medical cert and fit to fly? E gba wa o...what do we do now?

Thanks Sis. I booked on the BA website and I will be flying AA from Phoenix to Dallas on my inbound. I just want to know how it will all play out as the two airlines may have different policies as regards baggage allowance and flying with an infant.

Aaaww. You should have asked here before purchasing your ticket or atleast called their office.

As it stands now, there really isn't much you can do other than to process your refund and buy another ticket from an airline with a better policy. Pele dear.
