My story

She relapsed and would suddenly collapse in the middle of nowhere when she was 5 months pregnant. Thank God she didn't sustain injuries. Even her Drs cant explain the cause.

Then came the preterm contractions when she was 6 months. She spent 5 weeks on admission, underwent surgery to deliver me a beautiful baby boy.

In all, it was worth every dime spent. I even got her a new ride to show my respect and love for her.

Women are wonderfully and strongly made.

her treshold for pain is obviously low if she is crying when the doctors say she is not yet actively in labor
However we call you baby forth in Jesus name. we await your testimony on the birth of your baby.

a phase has ended and a new phase begins

The moment came and she came forth. Beautiful baby she is. Am so happy and grateful to God. Mather and child fine and bubbling. Tnx for ur love.

Thats why sir.

Are you talking about your wife?

The one you wooed and married?

If you don't compliment her, who will? undecided

Walahi if to say dem dey sell experience I for done be like dangote on top this matter. Hehehe

This topic just got me remeniscing of all I went thru from inception of the pregnancy til when my daughter was put into my arms.

Its a total joyful experience watching her grow. From the first words she ever mnumbled to her very first steps I witness her take. Then what about her first day in school What about watching her run off to join in the assembly What about watching her at the assembly from my office window every morning (cos her school is next to my place of work)? What about having breakfast together before school What about sleeping on my stomach everytime What about when she pushes her mother away from my body n cuddles up with me? Then what about when she's ill Taking her to the clinic n making sure she gets the best of treatment n what about she doesn't like taking those drugs And what about times I had to spank her I feel for her but I had to be strong emotionally and afterall we r still best of friends lol. I cud recall when she was about 11 months old she wanted to write cos she saw me writing, he wudnt allow me concentrate until I had to put her on the table. Can u guys imagine, I tore a piece of paper for her but she wanted the book instead so I gave her the book and took the sheet of paper. Lol I gave her pencil but she wanted my biro so I ended up with the baby's stuff n she ended up with mine only to be scribbling rubbish all over my book lol. She's all grown up now she's the one teaching daddy how to pronounce words, spell, dress, brush etc

Father n daughter what a wonderful world!

1st pic when she was 9months old. 2nd when she was 2 years old.

I am a happy father and I pray to God to always protect my little mama. Amen

She's 6 yrs old now, what a big gurl. She speaks English and French fluently.luvs bicycles, cartoons and love painting.

Wow great narration there and your daughter is pretty. Did you say English and French; WOW!

Bros, there are several ways to compliment person & I go tell you how.
I never for 1nc feel I will have a stable relationship even in the next 3 years. I was the type that feels the world owe him as many punanis as available. As at January this year I was seeing 4 babes steady but surely enuf 1 of em got pregnant.
We tried D&C and we had to evacuate 3 times before everything normal. She bleed for 5 weeks & I was very afraid she may die but thankfully enuf she survived that. 1 month after her recovery guess what happened?
She got pregnant again! We no fit do abortion again & na for us to carry our cross. She went to NYSC camp with a 2 month old pregnancy (I influenced her posting to the most rugged camp I was told & dats d Kwara state camp) hopping that she will lost the baby due to the rigorous exercises but she spent d 3 weeks & the belle still tanda 4 dia. Na so we come blow d alarm quick arrange introduction. I rush go secure an appartment, bought her a car, engage her in biz, got a maid, infact I do d needful except say she still dey disturb me for wedding but dat 1 go b next year after she don born ooo.
My brother make I come dey play mr carring for her onto say she get belle nw go kill whatever effort she has on her own.

...but WHY?

This tread isnt about how you start your family but for expecting fathera to share their experience sir. If you have to judge me den u shld be just abt it.
I may have a very faulty footing on starting my family but the fact is 'my family' is so far my greatest investment till date and my unborn child is my greater future and im taking it as that.
Not every1 of us will have a 'mills & boon' or nollywood fairy tale affair but how we manage it is what really matters.
My not 'complimenting' her dsnt in any way affect my relationship adversely sir, so your point of view is appreciated but thanks, no, thanks.

Guy, I ain't judging you, I just don't see the love being shown by men to their wives on this thread from you. What I see is the opposite.

Ur woman(amongst many others) nearly lost her life while both of you were forcefully trying to kill an innocent baby, and then gbam! She gets pregnant again the next month.

U deliberately sent her to the worst camp in naija so she can lose the baby and probably her life in the process, but alas! she survives again.

Somehow, u were forced to make her ur intended and despite all she has been thru, u confirm that she has remained strong in this pregnancy but yet, she still doesn't deserve any compliments from you to her face. Haba! my guy, you wicked small ooooo

But you really need to change ur whole orientation abt women and how they should be treated. The good thing abt you I must confess is ur honesty but it still doesn't make a bad thing right.

Women are more than punanies, just like a man is not all abt blokos. So far, you've treated the women in ur life esp ur pregnant intended like objects/toys which is wrong. For all ur woman has been thru with you and for you, if you compliment her every hr, I doubt if it's too much. The sooner you start treating ur woman right, like a human with feelings just like yourself, the better and happier ur new family will be.

All the best dude!
