This ceasation of hostilities could turn out as a fiasco on the part of the govt with Boko haram using this respite to resupply their forward operating units for the winter/harmattan campaign....the best govt should have done was to follow Chairman Mao's Korean War strategem of 'carrot and stick' sustain the attacks to force your terms whilst negotiating thus allowing no chance, respite or leeway for the splitting of Boko haram not to talk of attacks from the splintered group....

When the news of peace talk hit the public APC are the ones that cried most by shouting blue muderer they went ahead to open over 60 threads condeming gej and encouraging BH not to accept peac.
APCs should call their boys to order. They should collect whatever the govt is offering and let them rest. The game is over.

Your GEJ is incompetent , announcing peace when he has not done his homework. Typical of Jona.daft.

Strange, isn't it? Now Nigerians are being murdered while soldiers stand by on the instructions of Badeh who's celebrating a sham ceasefire.

The ceasefire negotiation between the FG and Boko Haram is a scam - Asari dokubo

....... In another news ......

More than a million unemployed Nigerian graduates came out for a sham immigration recruitment exercise after 1,500naira had been dubiously collected from them by president jonathans minister of interior Aba Moro, only to discover that they'v been scammed over a non-exisiting job

19 jobless youth died
several injured
certificates and other documents missing

PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN HAS FAILED THE NIGERIAN YOUTH
This is why he should be EVICTED from ASO ROCK in 2015! The money collected from these youths were never refunded! Even the victims of the flood disaster have been forgotten.

While they dilly dally because they haven't a single clue on how to stop Boko Haram they engage in this free for all Shenanigans to deceive the foolish Nigerian multitude.

Imagine president Barack Obama negotiating a cease fire with Taliban, Al-Queda, Islamic Jihad, ISIS and co.

Seriously speaking this boko haram thing is becoming a scamfest. Now federal government is defending an organization that killed nigerians in their thousands, how can a group that kidnapped school girls be believed to have honor to stand by their words?
Who is speaking for them and how did FG believe the person to be credible?
Why is ceasefire being discussed now that election is at the corner?
what happens to the communities that lost lives and properties?
There is really God koo Oga Jona

I seriously doubt the authenticity of this report. Terrorist numbering about 100 came in a convoy of 50 hilux trucks and motorcycles? That makes it one terrorist to one vehicle or motorcycle. That does not sound coherent and sensible. Sometimes i wonder why these stupid media outfits give this sect un-precedented media hypes. @OP... Dont worry, soon the issue of boko-haram and insugency will become a thing of the past and u will be definitely out of job.

Most of our media outfits are pro opposition/BH, very lazy and disloyal elements that thrives in junk journalism and sensationalism. Their reports are mainly to make money and discredit the FG/military efforts in this fight against terror.

As you have rightly observed, how can 100 boko boys moved in a convoys of 50 hilux trucks and motorcycles Does it mean they will be driving and shooting at the same time Or is their new modus operandi 'two terrorist' per vehicle The media outfits are part of the reasons our soldiers couldn't easily win this terror war.

And if i may ask, is it the Ahmad Sakilda/Shehu Sanni faction that's against the ceasefire There are so many INACTIVE BH members amongst nigerians either as opposition/politicians/journalists e.t.c, even on nairaland.

Nigeria will win this war against terror! Kudos to our gallant soldiers at the battlefield.
