Tanks so much. I don't blame them though. The crowd is too much so they are pressed for time. I am not applying anytime soon to the USA. Like I said I will go to Canada for conference. I will be able to put all my documents there. They don't have history of my denial with USA so I won't mention it. If successful I will take my family to different shengen countries next Sumner...from Spain to France to Germany. Maybe after 2yrs I can then give USA a shot. I am back at work for now

In my application form i intended going to visit maryland.(invitation letter) but now i will like to go to chicago.
Will i be asked at the point of entry, why the change of destination?? And will they ask for a copy of my invitation letter, because the invitee wrote they will be receiving me in washington Dulles airport. But i just wrote Maryland as destination in my form.
In conclusion, to avoid denial at point of entry what TICKET destination should i actually purchase please?

Doctor, getting a visa to usa or canada is very easy if you follow the rules. 1. U can't go to the USA embassy with a virgin passport and without your family and you claimed you are going for vacation. Forget all this your ranting that you makes a lot of money. They don't care. The result will always be DENIAL. 2. It will be your greatest undoing if you apply to Canada and in their form where they ask you have u been denial visa before and you say No particular after you have been denied USA visa. For your information and good they share information.

My advise is that you should go for vacation with your family this December together to UK or any schengen countries because these embassies will look at your documents and if you meet their criteria you will be issued with their visa. Going to apply to canada is not advisable for now because getting Canadian visa is more difficult than USA. This is my advise to you.

I just booked a tour through seven countries via a company ....DELETED.....as advised by a nairalander. 3500 dollars....refundable minus 150dollars if visa is denied. They av three points of departure..... Milan, franffurt and Paris. My problem now is I don't know which of the embassies will be easier? German Italy or France. The company will provide me with a comprehensive letter of invitation stating all our itineraries over 14days including Vatican city and seven others. I will go for travel insurance tomorrow at unitrust. [b]Pls which embassy do you think I should use as my POE. [/b]The fee covers hotel lodging, bus transportation across the cities and breakfast for me and my wife. We will only be paying at Louvre, coliseum etc...others are free entrance so its a cheap package. What embassy will u advise I go through?

While I don't need to answer you, i need to let you know you can use your brain. For schengen visa, the ist country that issue the visa is d point of entry. From there you can enter other countries. Tnks

I seriously doubt whether a change of destination can lead to denial at the port of entry. In my own case, we filled florida for our holiday destination in the USA disneyland but we end up in California but we were not asked anything about the destination changes at the POE.

Please note that; which ever POE one goes through does not matter. As long as you maintain same purpose you stated during your interview.

I suggest that you entered through the city in your D160 form to avoid lengthy questioning at the POE. I am currently in the US. I changed my travel plan lightly by going to Dallas before proceeding to my destination.

Also, I want to use the opportunity to visit my uncle staying at Atlanta and will stay with him for about 10 days after the conference. Pls, which address should I write as where I will stay in the US. in the DS-160 FORM ? is it my uncle's address in Atlanta or the hotel I will use when Im in Dallas?. I was recently denied a us visa and I want to make a few changes in my reapplication such as income and relatives in the US. I put my gross income in my previous application, can I put the new income in the new application. Also, I really do not have relatives as such in US except distant cousins whom I do not relate with in any way. Do I still fill NO in my new application or just put in their details. Thanks
