How can someone locate ready buyers of eggs and birds? Is there any association or agents that are available for this?

Just know dt he has a solution that he formulated and is giving him competitive advantage. He is not ready to give out d formular. He advise u shld do ur own trial and error and see what works for you.

Hi all,plz huz i nid urgent response.hw can i vacinate my 24pullets of 11weeks 4 both gumborro and lasota,coz the vaccines are sold in 200doses.i dnt knw hw 2 share it 4 them.plz kindly cum 2 my aids any1 wit vacinatn calculatn knowledge shuld help.

Secondly,i'm having 30pullets of 43weeks of age dat yet lay..and they're eatin lyk gluton bt nt drop til date..though 5 of them were layin @ 24weeks of age bt all of a sudden they all stop 2 lay.wat can i do?coz i nearly pointed 2 sum1 as witch oo

Fellow farmers. The cost of getting commercial feed is going up. Can u imagin that top feed layers goes for 2500-2600. This is not good for us in abj considering d fact that jos people are selling cheaper than us.

I want to change to a cheaper feed else I will end up working for people.

Good evening fellows. Please my broiler chicks are five days old now. Some of them start dying yesterday by suddenly becoming weak and ltr shaking/vibrating to death. Four died yesterday, and five died today.

Please what could possibly be infecting them and how can I manage the case.

I think its high time u partner with fellow poultry farmers in Abuja and produce ur own feed. Afterall ure closer 2 cheaper feed inputs from nearby northern states. Ur coop can reduce ur cost of biz as well as be a strong political tool in ABJ to get all the niceties from BOI, BOA etc. Don't 4get 2 partner with agric depts/livestock researchers for high grade feed mix. Time 2 step up bro.

@fnk u made a fundamental error not pursuing d case 2d end. I'll give u a little story. 1st time I came back into d country I always traveled in my car. I got stopped a lot. Spent hours @police stations just cos I neva wanted 2 give a bribe. My friends and family tot I was stupid. Overtime I knew almost every DPO, DO, CO along lagos 2 Benin/PH route. After a while they all became friendly and were moreorless begging than ordering. So from time 2 time I'll get bottle water, bread, biscuits in my car. If I didn't have they just greeted me and I went my way. I even traveled 4 2 months with an expired license b4 one new stubborn recruit made me realise I had 4goten 2 renew. I still didn't give a bribe. When I got 2d police station, d DPO told me 2 go renew my particulars and come carry my car which I did. Long and short of what I'm trying 2 say is doing d proper thing pays in d long-run. U should have allowed d law run its course or they settle out of court 3-fold if they wanna avoid jail. That way it will send shivers down d spine of those around. Avoiding a problem has just created a bigger one 4u. Mark my words. The next thief u catch must be made a scapegoat or scapepig which ever u choose.

forty what? 43wks n not laying. Bros sell off those birds and bring in new ones. You are wasting money.

U can answer these questions for better understanding of the situation.

Are the birds black or brown?
Which feed are u giving them?
Which farm did u buy d birds from?

If you notice, I never claimed that I invented it, it is a mixture, I just gave it that name. And as I said, it is out there, and anyone can come up with his or her own formula and some people here has mentioned some other things that can also be used. You are funny, but I like that. But I am not as mean as the U.S though, those that has come to me, I do give them some of the solution. I just don't want to put it up for sale, because also, I don't want the whale of dealing with people saying one thing and another.

And example here is that I remember in some pages back, where everyone coming on board as only interested in POL because that was threading, everyone seems to just want to start making money right away without learning the industry or at least understanding some of the processes of poultry farming. So we jump in in the middle without even thinking outside the box.

When I lived in Uruguay, where we had our first poultry farm, and this is where the idea of; if you can clean the water that these birds drink very well and also keep the water in a state that bacteria cannot survive in it, you can grown healthy birds without synthetic medication. Now guys, this idea is unconventional, but it works. We had a water treatment company with our key product from Brazil, it was a physical catalyst, the apparatus is connected to the water line, and as the water hits the cells in this apparatus, a change occurs in the molecular structure of the water, leaving it in a diamagnetic state, and when water is in a diamagnet state, bacteria can not survive in it, and bunch of other benefit to the water and its containers, i.e, pipes, tanks etc. So, using this treatment system in our poultry, we noticed that birds grow better and was healthier, they eat more and the morality was less, and we used less drops.

I know some of us are almost in a race against ourselves to make it big, but if you take time to look into these questions " How else? What else?" I promise you, you will find your own system, a system that works.

Warning: I am not saying to drop everything you are doing to pursue this alternatives, just a small lab in your farm and experiment.

@ fnk : you have spoken well but you have to consider peole like me who have little knowledge about science related matters but have passion for this field. Also we are all not equally opportuned to assess d level of exposure,finance etc that some have...will plead u be more elaborate and help us direct our research. Most pple hav limited funds that can cater for a few birds talk more of try stuffs we copy on the internet that might cause a great loss.
