The smallest premier league stadium is 33,000 and its the Liberty stadium- Swansea's. Ibom aesthetics is world class. Its facilities is awesome (for a state governed project), but what is worth doing is worth doing well. I'd prefer this project to be completed in 2020 with no rush and posses the absolute thorough qualities that'll shake the world- just like Abuja did.
All the same, we can learn from this and move-on. Kudos to the facility managers for ensuring that a mandatory 7yrs maintenance was agreed and enacted with its constructors- Julius Berger. That's a welcome development.

I raised the same questions like you did but I discovered this morning that the sitting capacity can be expanded up to 60000, just like the Emirates stadium can be expanded up to 80000 from its current 60000 sitting capacity . Julius Berger did a fantastic job.

Stop givin false info...fulham's graven cottage hardly seats 20k people...UK have some of d smallest stands in d world...Everton, QPR, Hull city e.t.c...Just watch EPL and notice attendence..30k seats in uyo aint bad.
