I can bet Tambuwal will not win the governorship race in Sokoto State. If I were him, I will give the Presidential race a shot and see how it goes from there. Even if I lose, I will still be seen as a former Presidential candidate. That's more respectable. My status will improve visavis my Presidential ambition.
Imagine if Tambuwal lose, he will be remembered as a former governorship candidate (Who happens to be a Former Speaker of the House of Representatives). This is very degrading sad More like a fall from grace to grass.

Aminu Tambuwal, speaker of the house of representatives, on Friday picked the governorship nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Sokoto state.

This followed his decision not to participate in the presidential primary of his new party despite the nomination and interest forms being collected on his behalf by friends and associates.

Tambuwal is expected to win the Sokoto APC  primary election having been endorsed by the kingmakers in the party.

Imam Imam, his spokesman, tweeted: Many here are chanting: “Daga Alu sai Aminu Waziri,’ meaning Speaker will take over from Gov Wamakko.

He quoted Tambuwal as saying “I’m here to honour the call of Sokoto people to return home and serve them. I am here to continue the work of our leader, Gov Aliyu Wamakko… I assure Sokoto people that if given the mandate, I won’t let them down. I will continue with the legacies of our Leader.”

After picking the form at the party’s secretariat in Sokoto, he went to the government house to thank Wamakko “for his support”, according to Imam.

All though I admit ur childish comments, I must not fail to tell u to be mature. If APC brings a more credible candidate they will win, but if they don't they can't. APC is a party that encourages violence verbally and action wise, I know you won't admit this but get this straight APC cannot win if one person out of the people that have so far declared on its platform presently now will represent the party in the elections.
