Originally, the collection of Voter's Card in Rivers State was scheduled to begin on 7th of this month but rescheduled to begin today. I left my house around 9 o'clock in the morning to my center, ST MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, situated at ever busy LAGOS BUS STOP, port harcourt main town. When I reached there, there was crowd but no INEC official. I was directed to where they were giving TALLY numbers. I got mine, i was number 503. Oh my God. Since no INEC official around, I left there around 10.30 to a nearby hotel to eat and waste some time since my number is too high. I came back to the center around five minutes to twelve. Five minutes after, they arrived, they're mainly Youth Coppers. Good a thing, they discarded the tally option and asked us to queue up according to our units. I was fifth, within one hour, I was issued a new PERMANENT VOTER'S CARD.

I need to be congratulated abeg.
IT'S NOT EASY.

I remember doing Distribution of Voter's card and registration of New Voter's for INEC during May here in Benue State. I saw hell and almost got beaten by crowd sef and I learnt ma lesson. I won't try it working for INEC in the nearest future even if INEC is the only place to work in this world or pay the highest salary. I pity those my fellow corpers hustling for the job thinking INEC will pay well. Una nova see something undecided

The only requirement is for you to bring the old voters card. If your own don lose, then you have prepare for some process. But if you haven't registered, that one is more lengthy process.
