GEJ's gut is tormenting the old man. The old man is crying like a baby and complaining to whosoever cares. grin grin I can't believe Obj was a military man like Gen Yakubu Gowon.
Re: Seven Notable Excerpts From Obasanjo’s Book by vigasimple(m): 8:16pm On Dec 09, 2014
The irony of this book is that the net beneficiary is GEJ.

It was to seal Atiku's political coffin against Bhuari in their primaries tomorrow. Unfortunately both of them are not electable.

GEJ has beaten both of them before and he would do so again.

OBJ' watch is before YAR ADUA, so how come he is talking about something many years later.

OBJ has a beef against GEJ because of kasamu and PDP leadership in SW.

This, thankfully will not affect the results of election which is just 2 months away.

This was OBJ last throw of the dice. He will never be relevant again.

OBJ is also lucky that Atiku will not win otherwise OBJ will spent the rest of his life where he came from before he became the President.

All in all, the book is good for comic relief as it is packed of other's mistakes and not a single one of OBJ.

We were at that stage globally. It happened concurrently with other african countries. That would have happened with or without him. Infact, it was a personal business for Obj till he left his sit. Every 1 Naria of every MTN card you load went into his coffers

I don't need an Obasanjo to tell me who GEJ is. He's offered us 5 years of terrible leadership,
Nigeria has not had it this bad.

Just because he refuses to do their bidding. The old order must change. Things simply cannot continue the way they were. The status quo has expired and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Nigeria has been seperated from their hands. They cannot exert control when, how, where they choose anymore. That is why they are incensed.....sorry...

Former president is just like this. When in the game you don't see the game clearly, but when not in game, you see game clearly as a spectator. And old age is telling on him.

The book will expose a lot of things.

Just that Nigerians are not wise enough to grab message and ignore the messenger.

I don't like El Rufai one bit. I bought his book the Accidental Public Servant and learnt a lot about Power.

The way Obasanjo 'claimed' he handled Atiku is Legendary. A good case of Strategy and being the Boss.

hmmm.

It's only in Nigeria that a president who was openly vindictive and went to war with his perceived enemies will write about Jonathan's squirmishness of his perceived enemies.

He influenced the outcome of an election and made a very sick yaradau our president and he's blaming God knows who for not making yaradau's illness public.

Sharing the story about the non-existent elder statesman about the country being run by those women more than anything painted him as a chauvinist. Little wonder his daughter hates him.

Obasanjo ruled for 8 years and he didn't have any significant achievement in all his years as president, yet he has the mouth to criticise. This is a typical case of a pot calling kettle black!

Thanks Bro.

I am so excited about the strategy.

He knew Atiku was very powerful. Infact Atiku impeached Evan Enwerem his Senate President and installed Okadigbo. He had the judiciary, he had the house of rep, he had 28 of the 36 Governors (Damn It) [That is why Obasanjo had problems with Ladoja, Fayose and co then.

Instead of fidgeting or confronting Atiku, He pretended as if he was not aware at all, Planted a mole and finished 8 years successfully. (Even trying oliver twist)

The lesson is to be wise and know the right time to confront an adversary otherwise, you make him plan more dangerous things against you.

Nigerians like you who continue to list GSM as an achievement under O.B.J are very funny,DO you know G.S.M was a new innovation then and there was no way we would not have been involved irrespective who the president was,I think the idea of Nigerians having G.S.M handsets was muted as far back as when ABACHA was the president but it was later dropped for security reasons.
Also did you hear that the C.E.O of a certain telecommunications giant in South Africa was dropped because of a faulty business judgement. The C.E.O was told to bid for one of the G.S.M licenses in Nigeria then, his response was that Nigeria was not ripe for such a 'revolution' in the telecommunication sector.
M.T.N also of South Africa on their part came and did what was supposed to be done and got one of the licenses. With the kind of profit M.T.N made during the tax break they were able to go back to South Africa and give the other telecommunications giant that had dominated them for some time a run for their money. They did not believe so much profit could come from investing in Nigeria hence the C.E.O had to be dropped.
This goes to tell you that it was just a matter of time for the G.S.M revolution to get to us even if it did not happen under O.B.J.
So let us stop being sentimental,O.B.J did virtually nothing when he was the president,so why is he now complaining,Oga JONA is only following the footstep of his predecessor.
