APC never see anything. No wonder OBJ wan rubbish Jona but their plan don Fail. Imagine the cash this will save the country 'cos most Sec. sch leavers will not seek Tetiary education in Ghana and Ukraine etc again. Imagine the Number of Jobs a University creates. 1st from construction workers to lecturers, non-teaching staff to potters to cleaners, security personnel to land owners in the area building hostels to transporters, food sellers and many more in Nine different locations across the country simultaneously. What more could we ask for? GEJ till APC knows that Power belongs to the People and not a selected few.

Many nigerian youths are as clueless as their Leader President Jonathan. We talk so much about structures without any cursory interest in the facilities, Lecturers and what the output quality of these universities are. I have not been to any of the 11 new Universities, but i am an insider at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti and i can confirm that Faculties of Agriculture and Engineering located in IKole Ekiti do not have a single functional laboratory and yet the students are currently in 400level.

What then are we celebrating?

Some of this buildings are not completed, some are even pictures of proposed plan buildings.

And why did the OP take just pictures of the gates of the universities? He should have taken more accurate pictures of faculties and the facilities available at these universities.

[size=18pt]What makes a university is not the architecture, but the quality of the academic staff.

Using world class standards, these so called universities are not better than high schools in the US and UK or some private secondary schools in Nigeria.

It is sheer stupidity to rush and build structures at the selected locations in Nigeria and call them universities when the old universities are terribly neglected and there are not enough qualified academic teachers for the scores of thousands of students in Nigeria.
