How much hate can one man have in his heart? Nigerians pretend to be so religious but they hate anyone that doesn't speak their language, practice their religion, or comes from their ethnic group.

Yes, I'm talking about you Mr.Hypocritical Pastor.

First off, I'm not your "Bro". I doubt anyone that I share genes with would be so hypocritical.

Second, he did not say such and I believe he was misquoted. This is a man I know personally and all I know is that he is fair and very open-minded.

This reminds me of Fela's son, a few days ago, refuting statements that were attributed to him denouncing Buhari.

Most of you Jonathan supporters are very wicked minded and it says a lot about your characters and upbringing.

Big lie from the bottom of hell.

A pastor helping to spread falsehood. All these personality attacks on Buhari is only making him more popular. So many false statements has been attributed to Buhari, this is another one of them.

Let somebody proof that Buhari made the statement.

This is Buharis reaction to this satanic allegation:

''Well, that perception remains. I know in 2003 I wrote to many Bishops and I could recall I visited some in 2003 and 2007. As you said, it happened in Sokoto in 2000 before I participated in elections. The person who reported me by tribe is a Yoruba man, by religion a Muslim. He was not in Sokoto and does not understand Hausa, maybe he still doesn’t. How he got the story I don’t know. And the comment I made was that people in Sokoto know their people, that when the ban on politics is lifted they should choose the people that will represent them responsibly. This is common sense: if someone aspires to rule this country, he cannot afford to offend even pagans or even atheists—those who don’t even believe in God. These are the people that will vote. How can I say Muslims should not vote for Christians? Then do I expect Christians to vote me, a Muslim?

I wrote to the Bishops. I explained to them, but I think, as you mentioned, perception, people hold on to their perception. Even the church leaders were careful to explain to their flock that there is no way any leader will, at the federal level, antagonize any of the religions. So, I wrote to the Bishops to explain but I am still very surprised that the perception remains. So there is nothing I can do about it, but I will continue to explain my position.

And I have backed it by facts that I have served the country’s military for 25 years. I did all the command and staff work, as a platoon commander to General Officer Commanding and the only still surviving officer that commanded three of the four commands in the Nigerian Army. And the Nigerian Army is about 75% Christian and nobody has ever said I took a decision against anybody because of his religion or his tribe. There are other tribes in the whole command. So, if for politically it sticks that I don’t like Christians, well it is very very unfortunate, but my performance in office at all stages has portrayed me as an impartial person, and I have believe that whoever is still bringing that case up, for whatever vote, will definitely fail in a free and fair election. The question of me being a Sharia advocate and a hater of Christians has never happened and it will certainly fail.''-GMB

Unfortunately this pastor is saying the truth. I wish he wasn't. I wish Buhari was the messiah. At last, someone from redeem is saying the truth.

Buhari said everything he is being accused of. The dailies had them and neither he nor his supporters denied them then.

Soon, very soon, the North will realize that they are being scammed by Tinubu and the rest. In a bid to have a Yoruba man as the VP, someone will go to any length to deceive some gullible Nigerians. Why can't our Western brothers be fair for once? Why are they always playing the chameleon in the Nigerian politics?

In 1998/1999, the whole nation decided to cede the presidency to the Yorubas for the perceived injustice that was Abiola'death. Two yoruba men were chosen. No Yoruba man or woman condemned that.

OBJ got his 8 yrs and still wanted some more. Thanks to Atiku for sacrificing his political fortune, so to speak, to stop Baba from lording it over everyone else. Honestly, I don't know what role the Yorubas played in that.

Jonathan, a minority from Niger Delta is now the president and the Yorubas have once again connived with the Hausa-Fulani to stop him by all means. Why can't Jonathan get the same treatment that OBJ got? If Buhari had chosen say Amaechi, Duke or Okorocha, will our western brothers still be shouting sai Buhari all over the Internet?

I feel sorry for the Christians and Southerners who are being deceived by the choice of Osinbanjo. Redeem members are getting carried away by the VP slot. It will be disastrous if the Niger Delta people are denied the opportunity to complete their term.

Suddenly, everyone is talking about performance. How well did Obasanjo perform? All the people before Jona nko? We have a lot of dishonest citizens. Jona is not the best but Buhari is not the change we need. Yorubas, please for once, shield your tribal sentiments and do the right thing.

Meanwhile, I am not from Niger Delta and I am a Redeem member. Again, I will not be affected by whoever wins. I just want us to be fair to everyone and every tribe.

The North has been crying and fighting Jonathan ever since he assumed office, because they felt ill-treated. Now we want the Niger Delta to start again. Be wise Nigerians.

Any way,Next month is Febuhari.Nigerians would prove to mischief makers that religion cannot becloud our clarion call for change

So many lies just to discredit the people's general:

In June 2001, Sheikh Sidi Attahiru Ibrahim launched his book at a Dan Fodio University event. General Muhammadu Buhari was invited to chair the event, where he spoke ex-tempore.

Later that month, Buhari granted an interview to Rev, Fr. Matthew Hassan Kukah (present day Catholic Bishop of Sokoto) confirming what he said at the book launch. Here is the relevant portion of Kukah’s report on what Buhari said during their June 23, 2001 conversation (which was published in the Weekly Trust edition of July 6-12, 2001)

“During the course of my comments, I drew attention to the fact that the introduction of Sharia had become one of the main issues in this new dispensation. I explained that Sharia, however, has been with us well before the British colonized Nigeria. Now, Sharia has been introduced in many Northern states and Sokoto is one of the states that has already adopted Sharia. It must be pointed out however that Sharia is applicable only to Muslims. Those elements that have taken the law into their hands and use the opportunity to molest other non-Muslims are not helping the cause. What is amore, they are like bad policemen or judges who are making the enforcement of justice so difficult in Nigeria. Their shortcoming does not do the police force or the judiciary any good, but these acts do not detract from the imperative of both institutions. Midway through our democracy, we have time now to assess the situation on ground in terms of making our choice in the next elections. Vote for good men whether they are in Borno, Katsina, Sokoto or wherever. Vote for those who will protect your interest. This, Rev. Father, is the summary of every thing I said and the tapes are there.” (1)

Nothing controversial in any portion of that statement, I’d say?

The controversy began when Ahmed Oyerinde, a long time Sokoto correspondent for ThisDay and other Newspapers, (who was not at the venue of the book launch when Buhari spoke) made up the false quote and reported this as fact in ThisDay. In the aftermath of his report, the tape of the event was played and no such statement was found there. Oyerinde later confessed to his Editors that he was not at the event and did not hear Buhari say any such thing. I was told that ThisDay later published a retraction of the report. (2)

For the record, Oyerinde, sadly now late, had been the subject of a disciplinary investigation by Nigerian Press watchdogs for allegations of taking money to write false and mischievous stories. The allegations were confirmed and he was reprimanded. One of these investigations dates back to 1990. (3)

Yet, despite Buhari’s many denials, and the defence of neutral observers like Fr. Kukah & Garba Shehu the peddlers of this lie keep repeating them maliciously.

I had serious argument with my father in 2011 on why he should not vote GEJ, but this year I don't need to convince any christian in the north cos GEJ is never there for Christians and won't help Christianity in any way.

In case you did not believe, my people, the Christians in the north, are now refugees spread all over the other regions in Nigeria. Many died in road crashes on their sojournies, many were killed right where they took refuge, others took ill and died. School activities utterly hindered where not just distracted. Marriages strained where the husband's had to stay back amongst the hostilities just to feign for the exiled families. All of us, have either a scar on the outside or in the inside.

One of the factors that would ensure a crushing defeat for GEJ in the forthcoming election is his loss of one of the pillars of his support in 2011, i.e. the block votes of the Northern Christians.

Only a very dumb and grossly uninformed observer who is so detached from the realities on the grounds in the North would think GEJ is going to be voted again by the northern Christians simply because he is their 'brother'.

So surely this PDP pastor is one of those who would be met with rude awakening next month; the Northern Christians would show the clueless and his agents of divisive politics that they are NOT the fools they think they are, as they are wise enough to know when a 'brother' is interested more in their votes than in the security of their lives and properties.

We shall see!

waternogetemeny:
This is simply a case of Gen Buhari religious bigotry gone a step too far.

Call for imposition of Sharia all across the country, even in the mainly Christian south.

Gen Buhari categorically stated that;"I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, "God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," Buhari said.

"Buhari calls for Sharia in all states, was defended by supporters as simply a call for the full implementation of Sharia in areas where Muslims predominated.

Buhari Politics of Religion an affront to the sensibility of Christians

The comments are the second by Buhari that have courted controversy after he called earlier this year for Muslims to vote at the next presidential elections only for someone who would defend their faith. This was criticised by the press as a call for voting along religious lines

Buhari categorically said; "It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly ... and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear," he said.

"What remains for Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts, educate Muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of Sharia law," he went on. - AFP

Buhari recourse to political pastors at the eleventh hour an act of political desperation or ridicule of the Christian faith

In December 17, 2014 APC announces Pastor Yemi Osinbajo as Gen. Buhari's running mate. A Pastor at Olive Tree House of Prayer for All Nations, Banana Island, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. APC not satisfied with this appointment then created a fake twitter @RCCGWorldwide account of RCCG to announce the endorsement of Pastor Yemi by the General Oversea of RCCG Pastor Adeboye.
This move prompted Pastor Adeboye through his verified Facebook page to disowned the Twitter handle and condemns yet another desperate scheme by the APC.

In the Facebook post, Pastor Adeboye said; “On behalf of The Governing Council of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, we would like to inform the public that RCCG is not affiliated nor represented by @rccgworldwide. The church’s official twitter page is @rccghq. The church cherishes the right of all citizens to participate in the democratic process to vote."

We have no doubts that the APC is a Party that attempts to use and parade Pastors as VP candidates to divide or mislead the innocent sheep and Nigerians with cherished Conservative or Liberal views and clear the known perception of Bigotry hanging over the head of its candidate and one time dictactor, General Buhari.

Other statements from the Church's AUTHENTIC twitter Handle Include:@rccghq: “RCCG is not affiliated nor represented by @rccgworldwide.
“The church’s official twitter page is @rccghq.”In no fewer than four other tweets, the church equally faulted the endorsement of Osinbajo by the creators of @rccgworldwide.One of the tweets by the Pastors reads: “RCCG has not celebrated anybody for any position in the forthcoming elections! The #OfficialRCCG handle is @rccghq. Do not be misled.” Another reads: “We are a mission and we do not meddle into politics #RCCG #OfficialRCCG @RCCGworldwide is wrong.”Another said: “#OfficialRCCG – @rccghq We do not denounce neither do we endorse candidacies for elections. We are not a political party.

APC Political Pastor Ejike Mbaka and the church drama

In gospel of Mark 12:17 Jesus Christ himself said; "Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." and in John 2:16 Jesus Christ said "Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father's house into a marketplace."
Thank you my beloved brother for been vigilant and able to go down the memory lane to let some people know that all of us can not be carried away. It is very unfortunate that some christians can easily be carried away like this imagine somebody who call himself a man of GOD which I dout using the name of GOD for political gains and turning the pulpit into political out reach in the person of Mbaka.Christians have forgoten that the antichrist we talk about is already here, People like Mbaka and others who are spiritually blind want to sell christians to anti Christ in fulfillment of end time prophecy. This people looking for power by all means have some hiden agenda even though they did not hide their feelings and what they stand for, some blind Christians have alread failing to their tricks, somebody who call himself a pastor is happy to serve as a baith for this deadly trap,It is foolish for sane person to romance with a religious fanatic who sees you as an infidel who don't supose to live.who feel that killing innocent people women and children is a great service to GOD. In all these evil going on my confidence is, darkness can never overcome light.

Ninapha:

Buhari shd not hv come in atall. If it has been kwankwaso or any other vibrant and non religious fanatic from the north, i wd hv taken APC more serious. Buhari is not the change we need,

Buhari 'ebuharigo' anyi before. We need not be' buharied' again.

Right now, almost any change is welcome. Anyhow to stop the killings and widespread corruption in the system.

No Northerner presently enjoys as much popularity as Buhari...religious fanatic or not

Buhari/Osinbajo may not be the Messiah we've been hoping for, but I don't see how they can possibly perform worse than GEJ .

If they don't bring the desired change, we'll simply vote them out in the next elections.

No more automatic second term in office.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has again warned all the pastors in the church not to use the altar of the church to campaign for any politician.

This will be the third time Pastor Adeboye would be issuing the warning to the pastors of the church with headquarters in Nigeria and hundreds of branches globally.

He had issued a similar warning when an audio cassette authored by one Pastor Bosun, who claimed to be ordained in the RCCG, went viral.

In the controversial video Pastor Bosun advised Christians not to vote for the candidates of a particular political party in the forthcoming elections.

However, Pastor Adeboye swiftly disassociated the Redeemed Church from the contents of the cassette which generated discontent among politicians and political parties.

Pastor Adeboye told his pastors then that the church should not be used for any political activity.

He said he was not saying the pastors should not partake in politics, but that the church should not be turned to campaign ground.

A few days ago, the authorities of the church sent another text message to all the pastors of the church reminding them of the earlier warning.

The content of Pastor Adeboye’s message read: ‘The General Overseer had reiterated that on no account MUST the altar and the parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God be used for political campaign. Anyone caught will face the consequence. You are warned.”

The latest warning may not be unconnected with the recent development where the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, picked one of the senior pastors of the church, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo, who is a Provincial Pastor, as his running mate.

Since Osinbajo emerged as General Buhari’s running mate, the pendulum has changed in the political circle.

Buhari, who had hitherto attracted hostility from Christendom because of his perceived religious stance, has been enjoying tremendous support from Christians because of Osinbajo.

Why should anyone be genuinely concerned about his comment can't you read from his name that he is GEJ kinsman and what better thing should we expect from him, he is of course entitled to his own opinion and so be it, unfortunately nobody can stop a change whose time has come so I dare say change all the way. Febuhari come February 14.
