Postponing next month's election will spell doom for all Nigerians. Military will have all the chances in the world to take over, their patience had long exhausted with modern day politicians and democracy. PDP is only setting up a big fire they don't have the resources to quench.

It won't take you more than an hour to collect the card, it took me less than 10mins, so anybody that has refused to collect his/her PVC till now is probably not planning on collecting or perhaps dead or are no more in Nigeria, cos I saw atleast 5 people that are dead and some that have travelled out of the country on the pasted list(I registered beside my house, so we all know each other. Before person start to quote me) in other words, let the election go on as planned.

Yes o let it go as planned I agree but d fact dat in ur area it took u just ten mins to collect urs dosnt mean its same else where na.

Inec really didn't try at all cos in ma own side, n so many places I know of, dey claimed dat d old machine we used for registration is crashed so a fresher and newer registration was conducted. Do u know how hectic it is? Somtimes u wud b there for good 3 days n one still can't register. Its either d system crashes or no fuel. Besides dat, inec supposed to hav planned dis well but in my center n some other centers dat I know, somtimes one had to pay N50 to collect his TEMPORARY card( Money for fueling gen n printing). Besides dat, most pictures wen printed came out BLACK(u hardly see d face of d owner).

Am not saying ur wrong with ur opinion but am just of d opinion dat u shud consider others before u make comments like this.

For sure elections go hold...grin

We want a free and fair election. PVC must get to the intended owners.

Until PVC are properly distributed, i favor postponement of the election.

What is the number of the registered voters across the country?

Was the registration properly conducted or did dey pull a fast one to register more tribes than the other?

What is Atairu Jega upto in terms of distribution of PVC.

He appears to have mainly distributed the PVC in the North and Southwest.

When will people in central, south east and south south receive their PVC?

Who is looking into the activities of Jega?
Lol, Postponement ought to be asked for by INEC if need be, why the NSO? GEJ is being clever by half, he want postponement so that Atahiru Jega can complete his term in June and then nominate Prof Olufemi Mimiko, professor of political science, immediate past VC of AAUA and younger brother of Dr Segun Mimiko of Ondo State as replacement for Jega. Everyone in Ondo State heard aboit this plan since August 2014. Ondo State Governor will effectively take over INEC job and return GEJ as winner of the election with manipulated figures, sorry Mr GEJ, your time is up, by FeBuhari 14, its GMB all the way

I registered at ward 9 unit 12 obio/akpor LGA port-harcourt. Have been to the center three times and to the inec office twice, yet they have not seen mine. But my name and pic is in their register. They keep telling me to write my name on a pieces of paper with my number, with the promise that they will call me.

I don't know how you do it where you reside, but where I reside, all you have to do is go to where you registered, check the list, if you see your picture and details, then your cards is definately there, but if you do not find your details on the pasted list, don't waste ur time, ur card is not there.

This Jonathan should be thrown out by every available possible option for leading Nigeria wrongly, he wasted fuc.king months/billions on useless CONFAB, now stylishly and shamelessly coming back to buy more time through self appointed NSA. Enough of these dunce attitudes.

No please. For the sake of peace!

Whereas anyone who hasn't collected isn't serious, honestly.
Now, what of the situation where no one has collected from my ward in Owerri, cos the cards aren't ready, according to the LG officials.

My view is that should allow for the use of both the Temporary and Permanent cards for the election.

I didn't know some aren't ready for collection. But I recall INEC's boss saying the cards are ready for collection nationwide, I don't know what's wrong in your side.

My view is that should allow for the use of both the Temporary and Permanent cards for the election.

No way! There would be massive rigging. The best the government can do is to give a public holiday for the collection.

Just sit down there and keep typing. Those convinced of their choice of candidates and made the sacrifice of going to the INEC office at the HQtrs of the LGA where they registered; some others have gone a step further to complete necessary applications to relocate their polling units while someone like me would still make the sacrifice of travelling some hundreds kilometer to vote because I don't want GEJ/PDP.
Keep reading/analyzing the statistics while you wait for your PVC to be couriered to your address

This is very simple! The federal govt should declare work free days for 3 days! This will enable people especially the working class to go and collect theirs

Hell NO!
EXCEPT YOU PLAN TO MOVED THE DATE FORWARD.(7 FEBRUARY 2015)
wen the date was fixed, all stake holder criticised it arrangement and timing but the government were adamant. now we have abide by the date. SO ELECTION MUST HOLD IN FEBRUARY 14 AS SCHEDULED.

If any of the parties loose the election by a margin less than PVC outstanding, there can be more trouble and court cases.

2 weeks postponement or so won't kill anyone.
