I'll vote GEJ because I have very high self-esteem and i do not hold him responsible for my personal problems...unlike Buhari fans.

GEJ is doing a great job. Crude oil prices slumped, Naira has been devalued for months now, yet inflation has not reached the roof unlike what's happening to Russia now.
In Nigeria, the things you bought at N100 when Naira was N160 to $, still cost N100 (or even less) now that it's N200 to $.

Someone is managing our economy very well.

@the bolded, how is this even possible? In an import dependent economy? common!

GEJ ...currupt
Re: Why I Will Vote for GEJ by Flets: 8:42am On Jan 27, 2015
Six REASONS TO VOTE GEJ

1) Consolidate on the agricultural policy - If all we can achieve in the next 4 years is feed ourselves alone without significant import, it would be equivalent to 31 trillion naira per annum assuming 500 naira per day for 170 million Nigerians for 365 days. That is a massive market with mighty potentials for wealth to average Nigerians and significant employment.

2) Sustain the automobile policies - With five car assembly plants nearing completion as at Dec 2014 and another 10 targeting completion by Dec 2015. We can commence and sustain car assembly. By 2017, the car manufacturers will commence manufacturing of the spare parts in-country. and with the re-invigoration within the power sector and ajaokuta steel plant, this industry will be the soul of manufacturing in the whole of Africa. Nigeria will become a car export country for the region in the next 5 to 6 years

3) Ensure continuity on power roadmap en-route constant power - Nigeria is few years to constant power, with lots of power plants nearing completion already, the ongoing gas assembly plant in Delta state, the ongoing investment by the private investors and the bids in hand for foreign competitors that will be introduced in 2016 .... we cannot afford to distort any of these ongoing plans. The story about constant power will soon be history

4) Ensure true democracy is further entrenched into our society. 4 more years of freedom of speech/ information and free/ fair elections will deepen our democracy for better years. Autocracy, intimidation, press bondage and unfair elections will be alien to us come 2019. And any government afterwards can only continue or better the process because the foundations would have fully solidified

5) Ensure that our infrastructures get the desired attention including our roads, railways, airports etc and sustained for the long term. Ensure that the oil and gas sector is deregulated through removal of subsidy to allow private sector participation with the consequent emergence of numerous refineries and petrochemical industries. Continue set up of the right institutions to fight corruption like the e-wallet system for fertilizer scam, biometric registration for ghost workers scam, pension reforms for pension scam etc.

6) Ensure that our northern brethren get some education through a sustained alamajiri education system. This will further make them productive and less vulnerable to violence and destruction

SEVEN REASONS I WILL NOT VOTE BUHARI

1) It will be a blow on our democracy that we distort a pleasant Nigeria future for a man who ended our nascent democracy 30 years ago

2) The name Buhari is globally associated with Dog, baboon, blood, sharia crusade, death, anarchy, coup plotting, tribal high handedness etc and this cannot be the best fit for Nigeria in 2015

3) The man Buhari has not shown any plan for Nigeria, so far its been a campaign of paying 5000 naira to 25 million Nigerians which is totally laidback and unsustainable. Stabilizing crude oil prices by buhari as promised is also not possible. Feeding the school children is not sustainable and not what Nigeria needs at the moment..... No concrete plans for the Nigeria future

4) Unfortunately, a man that has Obj, Atiku, tinubu, Amaechi etc who have wrecked the Nigerian society as his support base cannot mean change in 2015. He cannot jail the hands that fed him meaning jailing by Buhari can only be sectional and based on favouritism. Buhari is also not open to setting up the right systems and institutions to make corruption in the various sectors almost impossible.

5) It will be a disgrace to Nigeria that a 72 year old retired general who showed open disdain to the Nigeria army for fighting Bokoharam and threw his weight behind bokoharam (http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/buhari-military-offensive-against-boko-haram-anti-north/149256/) will be the president of Nigeria where other nations are joining forces to fight terrorism all over the world

6) How can we have a president whose educational qualification is in contention in 2015? Would it have been easier and better if the requested certification is shown to the electorate?. Even if the certificate exists, calling the bluff of the electorate for whom you beg for their votes is the height of insensitivity on the part of the general at this time.... much more when he is power

7) In this period of Nigerian growth, we cannot go for uncertainties. Though I do not consider this a political point, but a reaction to a Buhari's presidency in the SS through resumed militancy will pull all our growths to a halt and the economic suffering will be unprecedented. Four more years under GEJ will ensure complete diversification of the economy through agriculture, automobile and oil&gas downstream after which an uprising in the SS will have minimal impact to the country's economy

The main reason why I will vote for GEJ is to make a statement. 2015 is about making a point in this country and we must drive that point home even if the gates of hell are opened. The message we must drive into some thick skulls is that Nigeria belongs to all of us. No tribe is born-to-rule while others are born to siddon dey look.

There must be fairness, equity and justice in this country. Power MUST go round if we are truly one Nigeria. Why must a particular group of people continue to terrorize the rest of the nation when they are not in power?

When OBJ, a southerner was in power, they declared Sharia law and caused a series of very violent riots in the north which led to the death of many southerners and northern Christian.

As soon as Jonathan, another Southerner took over government, boko haram which was previously a rag tag group suddenly transforms into a mighty fighting force, blasting churches to pieces, killing innocent Nigerians and recently seizing towns and abducting our women.

The question is why is it that we cannot have peace when the people from Futa Jalon are not in power?

Buhari will NEVER rule Nigeria again. let me say this loud and clear, the best for Buhari is that he will end up as president of arewastan and maybe Odua republic but Buhari will NEVER rule Nigeria again.

Write down these words because I will repeat them next month by God's grace.

I passeed through Enugu-Onitsha expressway on my way to Enugu from Benin and nothing is happening on that road except two flyovers being constructed at Awka which to me is not necessary. That road is very bad and motorists resort to using one lane from Aroma junction to Oji River bridge. GEJ did nothing on that road because there were no sign of recent activity there.

I will vote for GEJ because even though I need change GMB is not the required change.
I will vote for GEJ because of the fate of all nigerian christians.
Should GMB win, Boko Haram menance will become a minor problem compared to what we will have then.(E.G ISIS etc).

Number 7 is very true
7. Under this govt, we have seen very innovative policies and programmes that work on ground (not paper), such as YOUWIN, SURE-P, e-wallet for farmers, etc. I will vote for continuity of govt programmes that have been tested and trusted.

Many people did not know that a program like SURE-P was on ground for the past 20 years, it is called National Directorate of Employment Scheme (NDE) but this was just a fancy policy that only serves as a conduit to steal money that was supposed to pay interns and set them up.

Tho i don't like the way he handled d subsidy scam- ifeanyi uba, otedola etc should pay for what they stole.

Tho i don't like the fact that i still don't have my national id card after many months of registering.

Tho i don't like the locomotive trains that we have in nigeria in this 21st century

Tho i don't like the fact that he does not know how to solve d boko haram challenge.

Tho Buhari seems to be more disciplined and straight forward, but has surrounded himself with corrupt pple like tinubu, atiku, amechi etc

I wld still have voted gej if i had my pvc. no administration has developed nigeria like his.

I hv wondered where u ve been all this while nd i tot maybe u ve realised the harm u ve done to gullible Nigerians wit ur lies here. Only to wake up this mornin to find out u ve been scolded by those who feed u to either complete ur job or return back the money invested in u.
Then u came up with this minature reasons to vote GEJ. May i wish u the Kidnap of all who matter to you as the case of the chibok girls, and when such happens may no one know their whereabout for months. Rather they will dance around nd care more for re-election. Maybe u are happy but we are many that are still crying cos our youths died in a nonexistent job interview where they paid money to qualify for it, maybe u hv light becos u partake in dis corruption but pls the megawatss promised Nigerians where ar they. I dnt hv light. Maybe cos u ve nt died due to the insecurity that we have witnessed in d land in d past 6 yrs, GEJ rule have been full of blood shed. Just like you, GEJ administration hv been full of corruption to the extent its a sin not to be corrupt, where is our 20bilion dolars? Maybe cos u belive in mediocrity, GEJ hv been running a kindergarten government that hv made us lose respect internationally even to congo. You will Vote GEJ i know becos he has empowered you and so many millitants that they now threaten responsible citizens, i will vote GEJ cos prices of food are still high. Today our Naira is as useless as the english of mama piss, our sovereign wealth fund hv been dried in pursuit of second term ambition. You can Vote GEJ but i wont cos i dnt want my children to learn bad mathematics of 16 greater than 19, 5 greater than 25 etc.
My children will never forgive me if i Vote GEJ. They need a better future, they need leadership with direction, focus nd decisive nd as it stands theres only one man that can do so his name is: GENERAL MUHAMADU BUHARI. Atleast he knows that stealing is corruption.
