Let's have a public debate. You lead the "Transformation" Team (PDP) to square it with the Progressive Team on this forum, Or a One-on-One debte between us. A non abusive and civil debate. Let Nairalanders decide between both candidates who deserve their thumbprint.
Accept and let's roll it out. I anticipate your acceptance

I must cast my vote on 14th Feb and to GEJ reason
1. I shall vote for d man who fights corruption with technology
2. A man who doesn't think about jailing co-politicians in the name of fighting corruption

Honestly, the problem is that I've been very busy with my personal things. The PDP versus APC online war is the least of my worries now

This thread is open for supporters of GEJ to state the precise reasons why they'll vote for GEJ in the forthcoming presidential elections.

Armed with my PVC, below are the reasons why GEJ is my preferred presidential candidate.

THIS IS FROM CHUKWUMA SOLUDO, FORMER GOVERNOR OF CBN:
“This is the only government in our history where rapidly increasing government expenditure was associated with increasing poverty. The director general of NB (National Bureau of Statistics) stated in his written press conference address in 2011 that about 112million Nigerians were living in poverty. Is this the record to defend?” he said.

Yes so people like you and I who buy online will definately feel the impact of the devalued Naira, However for locally sourced products, that would have been impacted by a reduced cost of production as a result of more stable electricity, reduced cost and modes of transportation, likely increased pdemand (as a result of opportunity cost of buying the foreign goods)
Mehn Life is good!

I keep on stressing on Power in most of My post because I have a 30liters of keg of fuel that has refused to finish since October.. i dont know about yours but my area people are smiling,
Laundry guy business is booming, cafes are smiling, restaurants, salons, car wash, Kiosks and shops, even the iron benders and wrought men I see them working but their yards are not jammed packed as before (i.e. turn around time for them has improved!)

To crown it up My generator service guy is going into football... Bad market!
notice that lots of small business are rapidly springing up, please you guys should say the truth!

I don't think you live in Ogun State, where you have lots of industries not small startups like you mentioned above. There are places in Lagos, Ijegun for example where power is very bad. Even in Ado-Ekiti, as at last year, light was terrible.

Left for these wicked entreprenuers, we will be buying the air we breath!

Do you think the generator importers will be happy to know that soon , no one will really NEED to own a Lister?

Imagine people going sub sea to blow up a gas line supplying power to a Power generation plant.
i believe left to jonathan and pdp generally. we are heading towards that.. petroleum as as example.

Useless points, most of the physical development projects mentioned are things that OBJ n Yar'adua conceived n initiated. The Clueless One cannot conceive any good thing apart from depleting all govt. account n siphoning the funds in the name of projects.
To cap it, he doesn't even have the clue on how to steal, money vanishes from govt accounts without a good explanation.

Jona the gona (gonner) It was only during Yar'adua's 2 yrs in office that we had Rule of Law. Now all we have is impunity, corruption n insecurity. The few projects executed are not commensurate with the money spent. Keep on wallowing in your self deceit and insincerity. All of us will suffer it in the next four years if ,God forbid, he should continue.

I'm voting him cos of three(3) major reasons.
1. the agricultural reforms. Never in our history has it been dis gud.
2. The trains are back. Yipeeeee.
3. The roads are too smooth to ride on. Benin-Ore road, East-West road comes to mind.

Sai GEJ2011--2019.

But lagos ibadan xpress road is horrible.

Coco, am not very eager to discuss politics with you but frankly speaking, this should be NORMAL in this day and age.

Apart from this, whenever human rights are violated, money stolen, criminals pardoned, fake oil companies set up, girls kidnapped and their parents disappointed, child marriages being legal and authorities abusing their power, then nothing has been won for women.

Nigeria has the choice, I really am not sure who the lesser of the two evils is but when I scrutinize the two candidates, I am sure that the country is far from sanity.

As for me he's the lesser evil. That's all.
Buhari can never do better than GEJ.

I don't even know who the candidates for the other parties are. They already gave up by not fighting hard enough to be seen just because two elephants are already in the fore front.

1. For the consolidation of our democracy. It is an undeniable fact that under the watch of GEJ, Nigeria democracy has grown from a near one party state to a two major political parties state, just like the US. The opposition parties (APC, APGA, CPC, ACN, labour party, accord, etc)have won more elections under GEJ than at any other time in the history of Nigeria. This is actually good for our democracy because it will allow for checks and balances and more competition in the long run.

One of the most ridiculous reasons I have ever seen and SO MANY people liked the post after reading it?

So it is an achievement for a president that his opposition parties have won more elections since he has been in office? grin grin grin grin

In sane countries, it is a sign of bad leadership.

Too bad!

he's simply better than buhari (the other evil) in my opinion.

I do not see how I can go further in explanation without making excuses for the areas in which he(GEJ) has failed. And I don't wanna make any excuses for him.

No, you don't have to make excuses for him. Just tell me, what he will do for Nigeria that Buhari cannot do.

Acidosis:
*Power sector - I haven't spent 1 naira on petrol since December 2014 despite the fact that my work requires stable electricity. On an average scale, PHCN deliver above 18hr power to my area daily.

*reforms in the automobile industry

*exponential development in the agric sector

* radical transformation in Education sector. Salary-wise, lecturers now swim in millions. What manner of man is GEJ?? Has any president in the whole world ever built 14 Universities in 4 years?

* aggressive transformation of road networks. Just look at lokoja-Abuja road, Lagos-Ibadan express road and many more - all done in 4 years

* What manner of man with so much influence will place his kids in Abuja schools?

* OBASANJO, IBB and Atiku after several years of service built themselves worthless private schools with government money ignoring states like Ekiti (the fountain of knowledge), Kogi state, Bayelsa, and others. GEJ rather than take the glory to himself, established a govt own uni in the name of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Otueke.

* Airports have received commendable attention.

* Take a look at our ports

* In less than 1 year in office, GEJ raised minimum wage from N7000 to N18,000. This gesture raised my dad's pension from a meagre junk to an incredibly high figure.

* How about the freedom we have received over the last 4 years?

* Youth empowerment!

* Billions of naira (loans) have been disbursed for the populace but the people won't see It cos they are busy preaching hate. For those who are involved in SMEs and CBN gestures , they will testify to this.

* I don tire

* Vote him out at your own peril; na you sabi

* As regards my own problems; he'll NO! I won't blame GEJ. GEJ is not the reason I didn't make a first class in my uni, I spent some time following campus girls, hence its all my fault

* GEJ is not the reason I didn't get a job in Shell;

* GEJ is not the reason I'm not making money like Dangote

* GEJ is not the reason some thieves stole my phone in Lagos. Nigerian people are basically corrupt, callous and wicked; hence they steal anything possible with impunity.
Tell them Sire
