chai! l'm really concerned about the future of this country.
Despite listening to that audio, some people are still making excuses to justify it or deny it.
With fellow citizens such as this without an iota of integrity and honour really shows that we have a serious problem in our hands.
l doubt if fayose would garner a fraction of even the legitimate votes he got if a fresh election is conducted. He has shown is true color to ekiti people even before this exposition.
ln a sane clime, decent folks wont have anything to do with a government that can sanction such fraud and allow state apparatus to be used for such

ABi OOOO. Not only front page but this needs to be 'stickied' at the top of other threads in the politics section. Seun and his mods should show they love Nigeria more than their private affiliations by helping Nigerians to see what the PDP engaged in. This is an absolute disgrace and anyone considering voting GEJ must rethink that choice if at all they love Nigeria and do not wish to see her fail completely like Afghanistan.

We now see, glaringly, what GEJ has turned the Nigerian army into. I.e a hungry, indisciplined , completely partisan, unpatriotic and totally amoral armed force like the sort one find in failed Nations. This is a President who knows only how to divide and destroy to get his way. He has divided and virtually killed his own Party the PDP. He has divided Nigerians horribly along religious and ethnic lines. He has completely destroyed the Nigerian army, NPF and made the Nigerian Navy a glorified errand boy to Tompolo et al. The DSS ,under GEJ, has been reduced to acting as the loudspeaker of the PDP while the EFCC is now a PDP hound dog used to extort political loyalty and/or favours out of dissenting politicians. Christians and Muslims are now at loggerhead in Nigeria because of the brand of divisive ethno-religious politics GEJ and his minions like Obanikoro, Fayose, Metuh, Omisore et al practise. This openly Machiavellian President is shockingly bad and his gross misrule must make every sane Nigerian to ask "how did someone this terrible become the President of the biggest black nation on earth?".
I guess its because we were deceived by his humble face and his humble beginning that we thought all of us could relate with. Sentiments played a huge roll why I voted him in too. But this time I know better. They say if you know better you do better. I have stripped myself of all sentiments coming from the south region of Nigeria to vote for who I think will take us away from this mess we are in now as a nation. I will also encourage any well meaning Nigerian to do the same too. Vote Buhari now so that your children can have a better Nigeria. God bless Nigeria

This clearly shows the Armed Forces have been politicised by the Government, little wonder no advancement was made in relations to defeating Boko Haram.

I can bet my last dollar that similar meetings have taken place in relations to how to make the Armed Forces uneffective in the fight against insurgency in the country.

In other countries, the President will have resigned, suspended by the party and subsequently charged to the law courts along with his fellow minions. I think GEJ needs to resign immediately, but that won't happen.

I listened to the audio and I was ashamed to be a Nigerian.

Little wonder the world does not take us serious anymore.

Did you bother to dissect my post at all? I said it amounts to wild goose chase and an exercise in futility for bringing up an evidence when a constituted authority (tribunal) had spoken. Were the conversations between Justice Salami and the defunct ACN members( Tinubu's men in specifics) not unravelled and documented? Why didn't the tribunal reverse its judgement by re-admitting those damning evidences? I would not waste my time listening to an inadmmissible and controversial recording.

With go and arrest Daramola etc, with going to the hotel State governor and his team were having their own meeting, with word 'suppression' coming from Army commander, with instructions coming from chief of army staff of Nigeria. with the presence of agent of suppression in all the local governments. with 250000 votes, fayose became governor through suppression of majority of the electorates. it is worrisome

Nigeria has a serious case on his hand, who should we turn to?

Nigerians need to seek help from United Nation in this matter as the government that is supposed to uphold the constitution are the one breaking it.

In fact copy of this audio evidence should be send to the body of world power, if possible copy should be handed over to Obama so that America will have a rethink on the negligence toward the ordinary citizen of this country

I have no doubt in my mind Fayose would have won regardless. However, from the recording which appears authentic it looks like he wasn't settling for the voice of the people. One may conclude that he applied brute force, barbaric might with the connivance of the military and of course the presidency.
Comparable to a student who was going to pass an exam anyway but decided to cheat just in case.

I'm sorry but once found out he needs to take the full weight of the law.

What are we seeing in the next few days? Nothing, I say absolute nothing. Why was the recording not presented to the Tribunal for adjudication? This is just an after-thought that holds no water. If the secretes of Tinubu, Fashola, Ameachi and the rest are revealed to the world, nobody will vote for APC as a party. Fayose will govern Ekiti State till 2018, it's a done deal.

Do you know anything about politics?

There is always a right time to strike... I'm sure they have this audio for a very long time; but they had to wait for sometime before striking.
