I hate when people believe wrong information the hear from media. gov Rochas that you guys hail as the best governor can you recall anytime he won the best governor since 2011. He have built cancer centre with whose name ? Let be realistic The hall he built calling it hospital how far? free education in primary and secondary school we agree bt our state is rated 38% external exam by ministry of education. In tertiary institution I have not believe is free because students pay 20,000 to access the cheque, he increase acceptance from 20,000 to 70,000 what is free about it In Adapalm i.e our palm plantation one of our state generate revenue He sold it and went back and buy it, he sack all the staff without pay That He re construct road in owerri where people can praise Him those that not make him best governor. NO Let me ask oooh in all the state own institution have gov Rochas build any standing structure for them? Am very very anger when these people that are from boko harm come here and make noise. Pls if are not from imo state Pls stay !!! We are finish and you talking about re electing Rochas is not possible, if any of you guys are interest on Him pls come and carry let Him governor your state. My happiness is that we are waiting for Him with our PVC 4 Likes |

Leopantro: Is it true that your governor, Okorocha, mounted a sign: PERMANENT SITE FOR IMSU in his villages in 2011, used it to deceive villagers and acquired vast acres of land for his private university? 1 Like |

here they come lying again, and ppl are buying their deceit. people, dont be deceived. i'm an indigene and i know what's going on in my state. i'm currently in nigeria for elections and i had to leave my home in ohio USA just to take my pvc and vote. and i can tell you that this thread is a BIG FAT LIE. the hospital is owned by an Israeli firm and NOT the imo state government as this deceitful criminal would like u to believe. As i am talking to u NOT ONE SINGLE HOSPITAL has been commissioned by okorocha. not one of those 27 general hospitals have been completed by the criminal, and they all lay hopelessly by the roadsides, overgrown with elephant grass - the befitting foliage choice for a white elephant project. when he took over as a governor, there were pre-existing hospitals he could have just rehabilitated/upgraded. but in one singular act to underscore his economic ineptitude and fiscal idiocy/recklessness, he flagged off the construction project of 27 GENERAL HOSPITALS in every LGA (even though he knew he was financially incapable at the time) while selling those pre-existing hospitals to his cronies. today, those 27 hospitals lay uncompleted in rot and desolation, overtaken by fungi and pests feasting on the bamboo sticks while the fat idioit gallivants in london with buhari and oshiomhole. the OP himself (contactmorak), his real name is Morakinyo Olugbiji, a propagandist currently on Rochas okorocha's payroll. shame! 3 Likes |

Leopantro: in bold: Okorocha handlers as usual, junior liars, junior propagandists. How could villagers make noise against government university in their midst, but instead accept private university which can close anytime, which shall not serve as the custodian of their culture, which shall bring little or no wealth to them? 1 Like |

amakenny: How can you call a concerned citizen Okorocha's handler? He is right to some extent with regards to some projects like hotels and ecumenical center but that of IMSU is purely politics that could destabilise the State. Abagworo: Okorocha deputy governor from Owerri and other senior indigenes of Owerri had finally convinced dissenting Owerri people about the need to relocate IMSU to Ogboko. But suddenly Okorocha got what he wanted - land acquisition for his private university in Ogboko - and information came again that Okorocha govt no longer intend to relocate IMSU to Ogboko. Relocating IMSU from Owerri cannot destabilize the state. There are other two federal universities in Owerri and a federal Poly. Fifth one, Imo Poly is closest to Owerri - all with a population of about 120000 students. All these create wealth for Owerri; Imo state allocation and taxes are deployed to provide more and more infrastructure for expansion in Owerri at the expense of development in any other place in Imo state. Okorocha seems to block any way a govt university can come to Orlu area because he does not want competition with his proposed private university. 2 Likes |
