Meaning Nigeria cannot give Chad instructions other than denying them the right to advance further than they already have. Which right was denied after Chad had seen significant success. Also, meaning claims cannot be made that Nigeria contributed to Chad's victories.

When battle-hardened Chadian troops overran a Boko Haram camp in northern Nigeria last week, they wanted to press deep into territory controlled by the Islamist group but Nigeria refused to let them.

Chadian forces INSIDE Nigeria below.

Why should they be allowed? So they are glory hunting while we have been battling BH on multiple fronts and they want to claim an easy victory while wee are engaging BH? No, their job is with our other neighbours at the border regions.

Chad IS Nigeria's favour without a doubt. Everyone knows knows it. Not just "foreign media". And for as long as media have contact with people on the ground, they beat you any day.

I again refer you to the General, go and read his statement. Foreign and local media with an agenda. They are ignoring facts on the ground and trying to rewrite history. It won' t work. Stop wasting my time as you are clearly in the above category.

The ONLY point is that out of shame, their advance was stalled.

They ALREADY entered Nigeria multiple times and liberated Nigerian towns. There's no such thing as an almost-Nigerian town.

Hey, ignorant juvenile, Chad has a right to enter Nigeria to a limit of kilometers under MNJTF agreement signed 8 years ago before Boko Haram ever existed....Nigeria has the same right to enter Chad. Regional military cross border area agreement was signed 8 years ago when there was nothing called Boko Haram, and such similar agreements exist all over the world. Maybe you don't read international affairs, you stuck in a baby bath tub in ANC republic.

3. They liberated nigerian territories.

I see only shame!!! shame!!!! shame!!!!

There is nothing like Chad was in agreement to penetrate Nigeria only to a certain limit. Nigeria stalled Chad's mission out of shame because the public was already commending Chad's troops than Jonathan. I have even saw this on a certain documentary on TV.

Fool gringrin

Those data have been posted there on SIPRI over one year ago 2013 !

SIPRI says SANDF has 238 Badger IFVs, yet you have only 6 which you have admitted as correct number only 6 units NOT 238 units tonguetongue

Also, SIPRI says 222 of those Badgers were PRODUCED (PAST TENSE IN ENGLISH MEANS DONE) in South Africa, yet NO SINGLE BADGER was ever produced in South Africa, talk less of a whole 222 units.

SIPRI information is ALL WRONG, only 6 Badgers paid for and delivered by Finland as produced in Finland .

Almost every South African information in this world has some fraud in it's manipulated deceitful content, you even feed the world with false information like you did to SIPRI .....thieves and crook control your Rainbow nation of fraudsters.

GAME STILL ON ! tonguetonguetongue
.[/size]

No SIPRI says the deal for the aquisition of 236 has been confirmed and paid for - not that it is conpleted

It says deliveries start in 2015 (this year) and end in 2022 (cant remeber exact date)

and the use of "including 222" is actually present continous and not past tense - which you would know if you had an education

So the entire basis of you argument is flawed

If you are delusional enough to argue with SIPRI then that is your problem not mine, Badger aquisition is now indisputable

The French troops that withdrew came back again to rejoin the French troops that stayed behind as permanent base forces of France in Chad.

They came back because Libya did not truly withdraw.

" Libya's failure to honor its commitment to remove its troops followed by a Libyan air attack across 16° north latitude in February 1986, triggered a new French deployment, Operation Epervier. "

during the Libya invasion of chad, chad was undergoing a civil war.

A faction of chad was supporting lybia which was occupying norther chad. This Chadian faction provided scouts and infantry. Libya was proving Arial support and artillery.....so lybia wasn't fully engaged.

France was backing and supporting the other Chadian faction. Later in the war, the two Chadian faction united against Libya who still didn't have her own foot soldiers and infantry in Chad

And with heavy FRENCH SUPPORT, Lybia was defeated.

You have never told a complete truth in your entire nairaland existence.

Well, well. About a year ago, the same people claiming Boko Haram captured or does not occupy any town/s in Nigerian territory are now talking about "Nigerian town/s liberated from the occupation of Boko Haram''. Another thing is, to support their claims, that they are winning, they use reference to their ''own' General's statements", and I suppose nothing is subjective about that, right? Another point proven, for quite some time it was debated here that Nigeria needs outside help to defeat Boko Haram, but again Nigerians disagreed, look who's getting helped now and there's much more progress since Nigeria is no longer the sole contributor in combating Boko Haram. Oh, and that dude Agubugu, your pathetic man, you were once a good debater and now there's no longer any substance in your posts, what happened?

2. A denial that chad progressed into nigeria.

3. A denial that Nigeria stopped chad from making further inroads.

4. A denial that chad's success is an embarrassment to nigeria.

5. Links and evidence in support of any of your statements.

All I see are words. Lots of them. But the words remain empty. Quantity =/= a reasoned argument.

What you need to do is to be ashamed
How could one deny what didn't exist?

Why would one rebuff an assertion that is bogus, malicious and utterly devoid of facts?

You're hurting and frustrated because the Nigerian army is making a mince meat of boko haram.

Bokoharam has 2 dangerous headquarters- the vast sambisa forest and baga. But the Nigerian army has unilaterally smoked them off and out.

That's your frustration and disappointment.
Now you can choke on your rage and pain, no one would even notice.

Even your president has officially begged for a defence pact.

1. The highest number of persons internally displaced by conflict in africa.

Saying an assertion is bogus is a denial. But without evidence, that denial is a bare denial. It's meaningless.

So, you have already tried to deny the facts but your denial is meaningless.

Egypt and Nigeria are suffering under the same malice. So their speaking on Nigeria, like your denial, is meaningless.

Seeing as you're the ONLY person talking about "hurting", it follows that you long crossed over to the emitional side and are only projecting your feelings on others

It's understandable. It's not like you can counter the points raised. So, resort to personal attacks or your mainstay, racism.
