If you say Amaechi enjoys sympathy, what would you say about Jonathan?

Your question is not clear to me.

But in relation to Amaechi, prior to his fallout with Mr Jonathan, little was known of him outside his region. That's not a slight on him, as the way Nigeria is, it is difficult for a State governor to have influence beyond his state, let alone across all Nigeria.

I know that many people will be looking for amaechi's name but I don't put his name there because his influentiality comes as a result of dispute between him and Mr President and he is not even sure of winning his state.
. If that be the case OBJ need not be there cos he cannot win his ward talk less of his state, he h is only known for cutting controversy no political clout.

Being popular is not the same as being influential. For example, Tinubu is not popular, but he's super influential. Currently no one compares to him when it comes to real politics. The man is a political wizard who can play all shades of politicsgrin

Buhari's current universal standing has a lot to do with the 'Western boys' (Tinubu) who are the brains behind his repackaging. People like Amaechi have also thrown a lot of money in the project.

Oyinbo teach me nonsense. In a normal situation, among rational people, the term "influential" will be "notorious."

The above mentioned names are nothing but retaRded usurpers. Destroyers of destinies, in range of evil men like Hitler.

Influential in this context is someone that can go to other regions in the country and influence political decision making processes, someone that other stakeholders can rely on to brings home accord's that will eventually carries everyone along in the distribution of political dividends.

Most of this persons are not even in the forefront of the political arena, most times they are oftenly referred to as kingmakers.

The only person that I see in that merit the topic is General Muhammadu Buhari. For someone alone to deliver 11 million votes without political structure speak volume of what influential is all about. Tinubu and Obj re also popular but not in the rank of GMB. Forget about GEJ, he has no influence, what he is using is presidential power. Everyone will see what ll happen the moment he leaves power
