Igbo culture is not like Nigeria politics people change at will so i know what I'm saying. These things are fixed according to what the town agreed on and not what a particular family wants though some families may decide to bone some items on the list , they may also decide not to collect the actually bride price but it has to be less ie in my place a family may decide to collect 5k from the guy instead of 10k fixed by the community but no family will ever add to the fixed price. When it comes to bride price the girl's family are not the only ones involved, the kindred are always involved in fact they inspect the items bought by the guy. My dear, i know what I'm saying
