I have never been a fan of any NBA team for a time I tried to follow the Thunders but I have no special bond with them.
You are making your prediction based on personal feelings rather than logic.
The Atlanta hawks and the Cavs are the two best team in the east.

You're really trying hard to force this label,
Your irrational hate for LBJ blinds you to the truth.
Which Upset one happen.
When last 1st and 2nd seeded teams no meet for the conference finals ?
Chicago still has to try and fit Rose into their offense again.
The Cavs arrived at the playoff with all their players intact.
I don't even see the spurs making the WCF to many road games.

No sweeps? Let's have that for the Eastern Conference.

Can the Mavs go pass the Rockets?
Sweep ke? These teams are too evenly matched. Even the Pelicans I doubt they get swept

The Mavs can go past the Rockets if Rondo shows up and if Parsons is healthy, they are the deeper team

Eastern Conference I go analyze when my head cool down small

Pelican vs Warriors

Having the brow in the playoffs is just what the doctor ordered for league, it's fans and its front office, he is the future of the league in so many aspects and the Pelicans have overachieved by merely making it to the post season, they are not an entirely inexperienced team but I think they get swept by the streaky shooting warriors who would be all out to prove they deserve the hype and would look to win convincingly and faster so as to rest some first team players.

Warriors sweep the Pelicans

Mavericks vs Rockets

Both teams boasts of an experienced roaster and the show down is ready, the Rockets are a deeper team and have a go to player in James Harden, combine that with an efficient Howard down low to protect the rim, block shots and make some buckets and hopefully some free throws, the Rockets may be the dark horses of the west, don't forget they also have one of the best perimeter defense in the west with Ariza and Corey Brewer, their only short coming might come from the PG position, the Mavs have a very solid first team but after that the bench is limited in quality, I expect Rondo to finally prove his critics wrong in the post season with some scintillating play, the Mavs depend a whole lot on jump shooters and with the Rockets perimeter and better one on one defense, I am taking the rockets in this one.

Rockets in 7

Clippers vs Spurs

If you love team chemistry, ball movement, discipline and unselfish plays then Popovic and the Spurs are your team, they have gotten hot at just the right time, this season has been tough for this roaster, pretty much same from last season, there has been no exceptional player during the regular season but hopes are high for last season's MVP Kawahi, his maturity is expected to hit its peak during this postseason, they are lacking the energy and power to compete with the younger clippers who have Jordan and Griffin down in the paint, and of course the meticulous CP3, so much of his legacy is riding on this post season, he single handedly threw the game away for the Clips last postseason after consecutive turn overs and fouling a three point shooter, he would be looking to redeem some pride and make some noise for the city of LA.

Spurs Win in 6

Grizzlies vs Portland

I do have a very soft spot for the Grizzlies, I have never hidden my admiration for their style of play which is slow, mostly half court and they pound the glass with power and hope to wear their opponents out, not much of a jump shooting team but a very potent defense in every position, Gasol and Zibo would be looking to fulfil the expectations of this franchise, Aldridge and the Trail Blazers are also a very energetic team but without Mathews they have fallen very short in quality also, you don't know what team shows up each night, they are a jump shooting team and rebound poorly.

The Grizzlies win in 6

Its not a given that the Cavs would win the Conference. Remember Kyrie and Kevin Love are not playoff tested never mind their coach. JR Smith is streaky as well. They are favorites but its not a slam dunk. They would have it rough against the Bulls because the Cavs have no one who can guard Gasol. Jimmy Butler can also pick up the assignment to guard Kyrie

Cool analysis....try cool your head so you can drop that of the EC
Hawks vs Nets: Hawks swept the Nets in the regular season and with heavy beatings too. The Hawks were in the playoffs last year and took the Pacers all the way to 7 almost pulling off an upset, expect no such from the Nets. The Hawks are far too deep and balanced for that. They do lack a star that can take over games but that would not hurt them in this round

Hawks in 5

Cavs vs Celtics: Just making the playoffs is success for the Celts. The Cavs however do have loftier goals, two of the best teams in the East since the All-star break they both enter this matchup with serious momentum. The Celts are young, hungry and have nothing to lose. This series would be tougher than most people anticipate but the Cavs should have too much firepower. No sweeps here

Cavs in 6

Bulls vs Bucks: Jason Kidd is the first coach to lead two different teams to the playoffs in his first 2 seasons and what he's done with the Bucks is quite remarkable since they lost over 60 games last year. They also lost maybe their best player in rookie Jabari Parker and traded Knight but they have hung in there however they face a Bulls team that must realize the title window is gradually closing and the time to make a run is now. With a relatively healthier team and impressive play from rookie Mirotic, Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol they aren't quite as dependent on D.Rose as they used to be. I think the veteran Bulls just have the deeper roster and would bully the Bucks who should use this playoffs as a learning experience

Bulls in 5

Raptors vs Wizards: The slumping Raptors have struggled mightily pretty much since the second month of the year, the Wizards as well and so must face each other instead of the Celts or the Bucks had they finished higher. This is probably where the best basketball will be played. An exciting PG battle between Lowry and Wall and Beal vs DeRozan at SG however with battle tested veterans like Paul Pierce and a superior frontcourt of Nene and Gortat I just feel homecourt advantage might not count for the Raptors

Wizards in 6

Enes Kanter can guard Gasol he did a good job during there last meeting.
If you put your best defender on kyrie then who guards lebron ?
J.R smith catch and shoot numbers have been very good since the trade
Concerning playoff experience they have veterans on the team also they have home court advantage.

Wizards vs Raptors

A match up of the front court, John Wall and Bradley Beal are the sticking point of this roaster match that with the experience of "THE TRUTH", Nene and Gortat, you have a potent first team, but that is about it, a very shallow bench and scoring majorly on the back of wall crashing the board and getting to the free throw line, this teams potentials are huge in the eastern conference but against a deeper Raptors roaster that also boasts of Lowry and Rozan, a team that also has got size in Valancunas and Johson, the first round is the best the Wizards can afford, the Raptors steal one game from Washington and close out in Toronto

Raptors in 6

Bucks vs Bulls

The future of the entire roaster of the Bulls is riding on this post season performance and that includes Rose, it is championship finals or Bust for Tom whom I admire his coaching grits, the Bulls have the perfect roaster to coast through the Eastern conference but Chemistry issues and lack of consistent scoring options have been their down fall, if players like Mitrovic and Butler can consistently pour doubles, the Bulls would be unbeatable, a lot also rides on Rose although I want to believe the team has learnt to play without him, expect a very low scoring for the bucks as Tom and the Bulls would look to stifle their opponents, the bucks have been one of the successful stories from the east considering their horrendous record last season, they have bounced back strongly and play some unselfish basketball that is riddled around perimeter shooting, Ilayasova and the Greek monster Antetokumbo would take one game 2 at the most.

Bulls win in 5

Celtics vs Caveliers

Brad Stevens should be in the conversation for for coach of the year, he has over performed, the distractions of numerous trades were huge in the early season as the Celtics could not finish games but as the roaster trimmed to the players he wanted he has been able to work his young and inexperienced team to believe anything is possible, but as passionate I am and deep rooted in green, I don't expect any miracles from the young celtics, this post season would be very instrumental to next season's success and who provides a better opponent than the much maglined James and the Cavs, originally without expectations of rings, the hype of their mid season resurgence has put more pressure on the Cavs to deliver the rings now, the first 2 games would be tough but I expect the Cavs to walk through this one.

Cavs in 5

Hawks vs Nets

I am amongst the fans who seriously doubt the Hawks, the Hawks take pride in the anonymousity of this team, there is no super star in this roaster, they share the ball unselfishly and defend collectively, they are also potent from down town, the maturity of point guard Jeff Teague and of course Horford who has been instrumental by staying healthy would take them past the unprofessional Nets who have the names but lack the will and desire to compete, rumors of discord between Dwills and other players like Lopez is not helping their cause.

Hawks win in 6

Are you sure he did that or Gasol had a bad shooting night?

The thing about Lebron is in the really tight series matchups he usually needs help from his supporting cast we saw that last year when Wade played badly and the Heat did not have any hope

Shawn Marion, Mike Miller and James Jones lol that's too much experience experience that can actually hurt the team. They are too old and barely played the regular season

J.R Smith is streaky when he is good he is good when he is bad you want to send him to China. His shooting slump can pop up at anytime.

The Cavs would be favorites but don't rule out the Bulls

Fantastic basketball played these last couple of days. Where do I start?

Paul Pierce dropping some mind-games material and producing on the court to Hawks sonning the Nets, to Kyrie putting on a clinic and D. Rose showing us brilliance

Or the West

Where CP3 blessed us with some fabulous basketball, The Grizz destroying the Blazers and Steph Curry showing why he's probably the MVP-elect. James Harden didn't shoot too well in the playoffs like I predicted, its a bit suspicious that he got to the foul line 17 times (more than the entire Mavericks team) Paul George go say na homecooking lol

Two games tonight

Bucks @ Bulls

Pelicans @ Warriors

the most enjoyable playofs in a long while. Steph is the most dangerous 3 pt shooter I have ever seen playing, bar none. And CP3 has given new meaning to what it means to have heart.

Clippers-Spurs is going to be the craziest series of the first round, followed by Mavs-Rockets. I hope my Rockets can sweep the Mavs...I love seeing Cuban fail lol
