3:1 is not bad esp if they have a supervisor. The professional ones are easier to find on the island (I think) cuz when I was looking I saw a lot of 2:1, I even saw some 1:1 and I can't remember seeing anyone that did not have cctv

In my area, you won't even see a semi professional one not to talk of seeing a cctv.

Apply penicillin ointment but I don't think he should still be feeling pain. My son stopped feeling any pain the next day.

I was given a small amount t of Vaseline mixed with penicillin in the hospital. It has healed up now tho but not completely dried. Thank you so much.

Sorry ma but I will still have to bother you again o,
What's gvn me concern abt d soft spot goin up and down on his head,is the visible suture that forms a kind of v-shape on his head, it wasn't visible at birth cos we shaved his hair @ 2wks and I didn't see it there, now that he is 6wks it just appeared suddenly. please. Is it normal cos I have never seen such on other babies head.

If her weight is within the normal range, and she isn't ill, then she might not be a big eater. Not all babies are chubby. My son wasn't a big eater and wasnt chubby...infact, he only had one or two folds on his thigh. But my daughter ehn...na michellin tyre lol

Get a waist cincher instead. Postpartum belts are not that effective and a lace up corset is tedious and uncomfortable, from my experience.
D cincher, is it d plain one or the one with bone? TX so much

Please family,my 6days old baby has been stooling ooo. Every time I breast feed her, after a while she will groan like she's in pain and will stool a kind of egusi mix with palm oil like poo. I was told its normal with new born as their organs are adapting to changes etc. am not just comfortable with the frequent stooling. Is any1 experiencing or have experienced such, pls what is the solution?

The egusi like poo is very normal...infact, doctors are bothered when the baby is still poo-ing the black tar like poop at this age. Babies also poo frequently at this age. With every feed, they poo. It can even be up to 6-7times a day.

The boned one is good but make sure its of good quality so it doesn't dig into your skin with use.

Its usually 'more visible' wen a child is dehydrated. So just breasfeed him more often. Its really nothing to worry abt.

I started wearing mine 3 days postpartum and by the 5th week my tummy was almost flat. You have to be committed to wearing it day and night that was why I adviced to get something that is comfortable and won't give you a sore skin.

Hello mamas, how are your little ones.

Took my baby for ten weeks immunisation on wed. he took penta 2 on his thigh.I noticed the spot is very hard and darker than the surrounding skin. I didn't rub it after he was given though hr bled a little and it was cleaned.
pls what do I do? I have gotten different advices. some say just apply ori, another a cold compress and massage others that I should do nothing.

what I have done so far is apply towel soaked in cold water and then light massage with ori or mentholatum. am I doing it right? pls I need advice esp from mamas that have experienced this with this penta.
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Nita2013: 11:30pm On Apr 26, 2015
Pls do not massage it no matter how lightly. It will become soft on its own. When my son took d penta, same thing happened but I just left it like that and everything was ok. I kno some pple apply ori but even if just apply it annd there should be no form of massage. Pele he ll be fine

Abegiiii. What you described is normal. Don't medicate her. The frequency will reduce as she grows older. If it's mucusy, reduce your sugar. If it appears green, it means she is not getting enough of the hind milk, and getting just the foremilk....so let her stay longer on each breast, so she can get the richer hindmilk.

Those are the 2 common poo types that breastfed babies get.

The nurses always tell you not to massage it. My daughter had the same. It will go down.
