If he s bn like dat since, then it may just b his nature. Bt u cld gv multivite to boost his appetite. I ll prefer pap, in my opinion, i think its more nutritious. if u cld mix grains, fyn. i gv my baby millet/guineacorn pap and its good on him.

Depends on what's important to you. Mine was:

Ratio of nanny to babies (not more than 2:1 for babies under one or 3:1 for babies above 1)
CCTV monitoring
A coordinator / proprietress on ground
Schedule
Log book - tell me how many times my baby ate and what quantity, how many diaper change - wet and poop

Her neck, back, red spoits almost everywhere. She said d nraa is caused by sugar in d breast.that d oil will dilute it.she is a mother of 7 month old baby.just wish to confirm from other mothers.

dat na old wives' tale. D components of ur breastmilk are in d correct proportion. I wld suggest u tk ur daughter to a paed to physically examine d rash.

Thanks vickilafab and favoredgal.

To mamas that go to work, which do you do/prefer? Nanny or creche? I'm thinking of the one to use just that I'm scared of nannies after that adoption saga.

If you can get a trusted nanny, it's better.

In creche where they have many babies, your baby won't be taken care of properly especially if she is the cry cry type, they will just abandon her to cry.

Pls what did you use to treat the elaa?

My dear, there's nothing i didnt try, and i cant really say which one worked. At first, i used olive oil, then shea butter and coconut oil. found out d coconut oil made it worse bt d shea butter didnt improve it. then saw a paed who recommended 1% hydrocortisone + Muriderm and a dose of antibiotics. Got cleared but recurred a little some weeks later.
Later found out its more of allergy esp some food like milk, choco, pap and clothing

That is why you shouldn't enrol your child in a creche with many babies and few hands in charge. I don't think a good creche will "abandon" a baby to cry. When they know the parents can walk in at any time or even their coordinator.

Some people are naturally wicked and lazy to do their job.

I teach in a school that has creche though mostly teachers' babies. My baby cried hell for almost two months that I nearly resigned.

When they see you coming, they must look for 1 excuse to tell you. Like na now now e chop finish, I wan go wash e feeder.
I choose not to be angry because my baby too na cry cry.
For my second baby by God's Grace I won't work till she/he is 9 months except I have got a better paying job. But with this teaching job, God forbid I resume after six weeks.

Wow, na wa o. May God help us. I started using funbactA 3days ago and I think its improving.
As for d head i was adviced to stop using baby oil and use shea butter instead, I find d butter too thick tho and I hate coconut oil smell so I opted for olive oil. I'll chck online if jojoba oil is safe for babies.
Tx for this.

Pls mamas,

You know I have been complaining about my baby not eating well.
So yesterday traveled to my village, he didn't suck BM through out the journey. At night, he didn't suck. If I try to give him, he will start shouting and stretching.

Even this morning, he refused to collect. I was asked to pump it to his feeder, mehn, no milk came out in 1 breeast, I tried the other, just little quantity.
It's over 24 hours since he sucked last yet my breeast is not heavy and is not even paining.

Solution please. Thanks
