Apart from that, i think the competition is too high, only one person among 36 bidders takes the price...in my case,i joined late last month and i was offered a project which i turned down for a reason. But seriously, competition is too high and many of the biggest boys ( those with 1000+ reviews or 800 and the likes takes it all most times. I am still bidding sha, waiting for luck

My two cents try fiverr...it's way better, and especially for those in the writing niche..tons of people looking for freelance writers and they certainly would not ask you to write a 500 words article for $1...what about reviews?? fiverr pitches to them to leave you reviews automatically. Am not saying abandon freelancer but at least try fiverr and see the difference. What is better than a work place where you set your own rates and tell your client when his work would be ready. It is like the reverse of freelance where you try to convince buyers to work with them...if you do your job well enough buyers would try to convince you to work for them.

well I have seen a company with a freelancer account. they have staff and in their profile all exams have been passed (I think 34 or so )that is clearly a company but individuals like rajat whom I have complained about here before BTW, cannot have staff writing exams for him else he won't be outsourcing.

the company profile is ghost something I think ghostwriter. they even got a logo

1 Speak with him to agree a price based on how much u wanna collect
2 Go to your withdrawal page on freelancer
3 Enter his paypal email address, you will get this from him
4 You will have to verify with your phone. You will be sent a code to enter.
5 Tell him you ve sent it
6 He will contact you when he receives it(quite fast). Then you give him your account number, he will send ur money based on the rates agreed. Minus 100. All these can be done in a day.
7 You can then send me my share
If u omit all the other steps, abeg no omit number seven, very very important.

Hello, i have been following this thread from the very first post and i must say it is a life changing one. Thank you ladywriter.

OK, so i saw a post by @cremeandchic about Fiverr some months back. Even though i had gone for physical seminars with some "gurus" at Ikeja, the way he explained it was too superficial and i wanted an in-depth training. I finally made up my mind to give Fiverr another try and i got in touch with cremeandchic.

We started training focusing on writing gigs and i was amazed at her level of detail.
