Seriously,am starting to think that most of there mules are being forced by their contact, to traffick drugs into Asia; 'caused I dont think anybody with functioning brain cells, will willing convey this substances to that part of the world, not when s/he is aware of the penalty that await such offender(s).

Any soul that is so desperate and greedy to do any evil 'work' for a living shall end up working himself/herself to death instead. Why has thou decided to pay a visit to the den of lions?

it is not a usual trend for people to start attaching tribal sentiments to things. Every drug dealer or fraudster is an igbo man. This is sure a path that would only divide Nigeria.
My belief system is: 'what an igbo person can do to you, a yoruba/hausa/ijaw/urhobo etc person can equally do to you'.
I have treated people fairly and unfairly and I've gotten same from other people and not because of my ethnicity/nationality. There are good and bad people out there of every ethnicity, race, creed, color or environment.

Yes, an Igbo, but most importantly, she's a NIGERIAN. The foreigners don't see us as Hausas, Yorubas or Igbos, but as Nigerians.

You guys really need to chill with all these ethnic tinged utterances. They're gonna do us no good.

She is not Igbo.

Unazi is Edo/Sobo/Itshekiri & etc.

they will, at this rate they will, in fact it is now time to begin to say it on tv. one tribe cannot be allowed to drag others into disrepute while the rest are encouraged to look away in the bid to be politically correct - that is pure trash. that is just like the kind of western diplomacy that has ignorantly continued to fuel Islamic terrorism. if u travel once out of Nigeria u will get what am saying in less than 15mins of landing there

U are right bro. she is a Nigerian period! The image is bad inside and outside. let us forget about tribalism here. lets move Nigeria forward. We will not get anywhere with tribalism. What is on everyone's passport is Nigeria, not Hausa, igbo or yoruba .Grow up brothers and sisters.

How sure are you Never heard of people sneaking cocaine into your luggage without your knowledge? It's just too hefty a punishment for my liking. I've been a victim of false accusation when I explained to my boss that I lost my Dad, it wasn't until I was punished that his anger calmed downed & then had the patience to see his Obituary poster.

Bishop Oyedepo shared a testimony some years ago about how the Holy Spirit directed him to open the carpet of his driver's seat after his car was washed, he saw cocaine hidden there and he threw it away....as he got to the next police stop, the officer went straight to the carpet to look for the drug and was shocked to find nothing there...he told the man of God: "na God save you".

To me its just a harsh & rash decision that's why most developed countries have done away with this judgement for such crimes.

I understand your point. I do not subscribe to death penalty for anybody for whatever reason. I believe in the sanctity of life. I feel it is wrong for any man to take what he cannot give. However, nothing can be further from the truth. These countries have their laws as regards drug trafficking clearly spelt out yet our people risk their lives carrying drugs in and out of these countries in the name of looking for mmoney hence you cannot entirely blame the authorities of the countries in question for executing anybody...

I agree with you on the possibilities of people planting drugs in other peoples' luggages and homes to implicate them, yet in all sincerity, you and I know that you can only have few isolated cases of such out of the hundreds of drug cases involving our people all over the world. You can prove me wrong but this is my honest submission, based of what I personally know about my fellow country men(and women), at least in the county where I sojourn.

some times, these victims are paying the price for being dumb.

a trusted individual will just hand them a package to delivered to someone at the other end and they always trust them so much that they usually dont check the content.
