Why does she have to be like Arya before she survives. Arya wont survive where Sansa will too. Like i said, if you conclude that she is still being played, even after escaping King's Landing, the fault is with the writing, for such writing hampers her character development, it makes her character one sided and always the victim. That's what they've made her show character. At this stage she starts to man up, and develop skills and doesnt see the world like she used to, she starts to learn a certain cunning,to a stage she'll be crowned queen in the north. Sansa knew what she was walking into when she agreed to marry Ramsey,the sansa that we knew before wouldn't have agreed to marry Ramsey and on some level she knew this would happen still doesn't prepare you for reality.

What happened to Sansa was so sad. If Theon feels any remorse or responsibility for what's befallen Sansa, as seems evident with the look on his face when Ramsay was doing his thing, he should start by letting her know that her two brothers are (probably) still alive. The mere knowledge of this may be comfort for her in this troubling times.

The sweet summer child - Sansa - had another taste of winter. Sooo heartbreaking. Life isn't fair, is it?

I personally see this as a final proof to her that no one - not Littlefinger, not Brienne, not her father's bannemen, and definitely not her half-brother at the Wall - no one will fight for her. If she really wants to keep the Stark line alive, then she has to fight and kill by herself - the Stark way.

Theon holds the undisputed title of Most Tortured and Tormented Character in my books. Sansa is not far away in second place, but physical torture and mutilation ranks higher than psychological torture for me any day.

However, _{(hope this doesn't count as a spoiler)} in Sansa's case I think the producers have a hidden agenda; I won't be surprised to see her develop Stoneheart-traits before the season ends. So "cold and heartless" might just be the target.
