You will have to re-assess for GSM. You should get in touch with VETASSESS and see what they can do for you. But don't try using this one you have o,it won't be accepted.

U didnt get me right, I dont doubt u. I later learnt d transfer officer wasnt really verse with d procedure. As I pointed out earlier, she sent the docs to the head qrts she didnt do the transfer herself. also, my a/c wasnt over credited, I had to pay in extra money for the transaction to be completed else it will be cancelled. I queried on why the USD conversion was done @ 163 since CBN rate was 155 then & her response was that they bought at 155 & cant sell at same price.
n'way, I guess GTB operates differently from FBN. I will enquire abt it from Zenith.

Although the transaction has been done already am supposed to get my balance from the bank bt notin yet ooo. My I paid extra money for my transaction to be completed and met with the account officer bt she told me dat after buying in USD, they wld send the money to school bank to deduct the tuition in AUD and the refund wld be sent back to dem(if there is any). So my question is dis, after the transaction did you get a refund? Since you bought in USD and converted to AUD for the tuition payment? A frnd of mine same course and same school paid lesser(cos she paid with her card) while my tuition payment is abt 400k difference from hers through dis FORM A transaction. Pls reply.

I am now looking at going in for MPH hoping to commence feb 2016, i have checked all the criteria and they are pretty straightforward. I however have a quick question:
How did you submit your Transcript?
Did you have your school forward it directly to Australia or did you personally collect it from the school and then mail/scan it to Aus by yourself?

I just called vetassess admin officer now and she confirm that it does not matter and that I can use it for any visa class provide it is permanent. The visa class was not written on the assessment letter. Its on the platform. What do you think.

if yours is public university you may have to collect it and mail it yourself.

Teleperformace will or have sent your application to Pretoria. They won't send you any mail saying so. YOu will just have to wait patiently and pray. When are you expected to resume? (thats if its student visa). I too am waiting on my own patiently school resumes 20th July.

Yes,i collected mine personally from my school,different schools have different policies,if they insist they will not give it to you,give them your own mail address,when you receive the mail,scan in pdf and send to your school in aus,will advise you to get an agent,(because most doctors are busy) ,if you happen to choose unsw,then the merrier over there.lol.cheers

Afim, you may log on to ieltspractice.com or road to ielts. You will be prompted to subscribe for 49.9USD. It lasts for a month. I personally used this and it sure assisted me. All you need is your laptop and internet subscription and your subscription amount. In my opinion and experience. If you prefer the hardcopy of study materials, then you may obtain them from the nearest british council office. Good luck

What level of program are you going for?
Are you under SVP?

After u pay for IELTS you have access to the free practices available on their platform, Thats if you do not want to pay for more tutorials/practice materials.
I used only the free material to test my self and i got a 7.5 overall.

Ur 6.5 in IELTS is not a bad one...just do a deep search u will get schools dat will accept it, it's basically a function of d course u wanna do. I scored 6.5 too. It depends......

They dont send any form of acknowledgement o. And yes i agree, they should be able to add that to services rendered.
Usually students from Niaja no dey fit track their visas. I dont know abt PR.
You can however call the embassy in Pretoria (not teleperformance Lagos). 25th March is a long time ago, especially if its SVP.
The number is on their website and its displayed two or three threads back.

Yes, It is possible to do courses in the University or Tafe and pay at subsidised rates as PR holder. Australia is a country where emphasis is not much on certifications but rather your experience in your profession. However, if you could lay your hands on any basic certifications/trainings (CCNA,PMP,etc) before you arrive will be better otherwise you might end up paying huge amount if you were to do some of these trainings here. Again, what you need mostly is your experience. Even with your experience, you will still need to crack the nut of local experience here. Employers here don't joke with that.

As per the Telco industry, well I must tell you the reality here at the moment. It is not all that big because the population of Australia is about 24million, so you do the maths. And sadly enough, it is flooded and highly competitive. Sometimes, It takes highlevel of networking to breakthrough. You will be competing with mostly Indians, Srilankans,Pakistanis and Bangladesh professionals. And these people already have insiders who can easily refer them. Employers sometimes prefer that because they don't want to waste time in recruiting right candidates.

Check the major job websites (seek.com.au and indeed.com.au) for advertised jobs and start tailoring your CV to skills set required. You will need to work hard on your CVs. Nigerian CV's style doesn't work here as such. Emphasis is mainly on what you have done and what you can do.
You need to also prepare your mind to stay in the cities such as Sydney,Melbourne,Perth and Brisbane if you really want Telco job.

They are right. U can go ahead and use it since the visa subclass aint typed on the assessment itself, which u will be submitting to SA and DIBP.

I'll get to work on the transcript thingy now, it is about the only thing left to the best of my knowledge. Mine is a public school and I know how shoddy record keeping can be in public institutions in Nigeria. As to the choice of Uni, I like the NSW program being just a year but i think its better i pick a school in a regional area as that might help in pursuit of PR later.

I also suspect it might be a little easier getting a job in a regional area with AMC 1 than in an Urban center like Sydney. I'm considering JCU Townsville and Flinders Uni, any suggestions on this? I know you guys have done tons of research on schools and towns in OZ pl kindly make inputs.

On last thing, how soon can i start putting in applications if i'm targeting Feb 2016 intake? cos its as if the applications for 2015 Study period 2 are still ongoing.
