Anyone with a sane mind should be asking- if Asari indeed desires to see his brothers lifted out of poverty, emancipated, why couldn't he build his school in the region?? How many schools or other such facilities has he set up using the huge amount of finances at his disposal??

Such a shame how backward we are mentally.
if thing go wrong and if some saboteur do what they normally do best by keep the struggle at bay do u want him to experience what Ojukwu's family passed through?.Oga u question is not what we r here to analyze

All these people calling his words bluff are doing so becos they have no idea what these people are capable of. First of all, unlike Boko Haram, these ones have dia own money and dnt rely on external forces for funding, they do bunkery and lots of oda oil deals so they got the money.

Secondly, these people have conquered there immediate enviroment which is the land and practically live up in water or can stay longer in water hence, it wud take a whole lot to curb them

Thridly, the kind of weapons they wield is not a joke, forget all these BH guns and Bombs, forget that dey did Armnesty and surrendered their weapons on TV, those weapons dey submitted are the worn out ones cus the real weapons are chilling somwia.

I grew up in POrt harcourt and I was in PH at the time when they started their chaos and trust me, it wasn't palatable, we know the kind of gun shots we heard, No be moi moi guns o, that time we they drink tea dey dodge bullet.
The Govt had better take dem seriously for these guys don't play..

So you think a properly equipped Army, Navy and Airforce with a presidential order wont scathe those guys? Thats just the way some of you guys believed that GEJ was undefeatable.

I wonder what they will do?
Blow up pipelines?
Attack government facilities?
Just what?....
They will soon learn that this administration will not be moved by threats.
What needs to be done will be done and heavens will not fall.

The future is indeed pregnant. Jonathan's loss is looking like a blessing in disguise in various ways. The man get celebrated as a hero nationwide and worldwide smiley and we rediscover ourselves.

We need referendum! That's all. This marriage don tire us, we want out. Each region can fend for itself so i see no reason why we must be one. We are way too different for Christ sake. In all ramifications we are not one. Be it ideology, religion, education, mentality, anything at all. Can they just allow us to go our separate ways and chart a new course for ourselves. We are tired. We are not slaves, Buhari is not Pharaoh and Nigeria is not Egypt.

I keep salivating at the prospect of a Lower Niger republic with the ever innovative Igbos and the strong willed Niger Deltans, SS + SE is a marriage made in heaven united by God. It took time for us to realize but now we know there is no stopping us. Our parents were deceived but now we are educated and will seek change in a peaceful way and God help us, we will get it!

Referendum!!!

The ND and the igbo nation should shout their mouth nigeria is years old yet we are not still getting it right, do u think is childs play to become a country? If you try rubbish u guys will surfer, or do the igbo think their fake product will give them food or ND think selling crude alone will bring them wealth time has come when crude will be useless to the international community u better work your diffrenceses as one nigeria an pray to God than start shouting up and down like engine

Crude oil is already useless to the international market , America ,Canada and Australia have flooded the international market with so much shale oil it's crazy.

America are now scheduled to be the biggest manufacturer/exporter of natural gas ; took Russia out in one clean sweep. Go to Pennsylvania , Texas , Ohio and see fracked wells all over the place.

Many don't know the recent devaluation in the price of OPEC oil pricing per barrel is a price war between OPEC and the shale oil mega quartet (America, Canada ,brazil and Australia) , OPEC would keep cutting prices till shale oil which is more expensive to extract become not economically viable.

Oil is no more a unique commodity , land and agriculture is the way of the future. Cultivation of farm land for use in cultivation of corn to produce methanol , palm for bio-fuels, for food production etc is where it's at right now

There are now more mouths to feed globally and with the growth of the African middle class food and clean water are about to become very important.

I so love Brazil , so much of the meat, and fruit consumed in Europe comes from Brazil and yet tgyt produce oil. Tgat is where Nigeria should be

After all the noise what are you waiting for? Don't wait for anything, Starts your fight now! Fools think Asari is ready to abandoned his "Billions" and go to war. Xixixixi i laughed in Chinese cheesy. Let's see if blowing up pipelines would have no effect on the people you claimed to be fighting for...

Most of u still seem not to get it, if buhari draws first blood, he's finished.

Once militants r killing, kidnapping, burning oil wells n perform massive bunkering, buhari will have a dismal 4 years in office n Nigeria will evict him from Aso rock come 2019 for failing badly. seems u seem to forget 80% of our revenue comes from Niger delta.

Remember it takes average of 5 years to build a refinery, but it takes just less than an hour to burn it to the ground.

Why is it that when it comes to war, niger deltans will clinch with the igbos? The reason is that their population and influence is not even up to the number of people living in ikorodu(lagos) Pardon me but that's the truth. Ever since lord lugard almagamated nigeria he has his reasons which I know is because Nigeria is an inter-dependent country, we need one another: hausa supplies food for everyone, igbos supply commerce and trade innovations, yoruba supplies businesss opportunities etc. You see why we need each other, we exhibits what's known biologically as Commensalism. Back to that beef's speech asari knows that their struggle will amount to nothing if the igbos doesn't join them. Unknown to him, the igbos have their own struggle and movement: BIAFRA. Why would they carry another person load for head. My father used to say that our independence came a little to early and the crude oil is a curse to Nigeria. Asari has so many investments outside nigeria; he has one of the largest private university in cotonou. Why can't he build it in his own region He wants to protect it. Most of all the activist in nigeria are motivated with greed. Asari's children are outside africa flexing and we wey they naija go they do mumu here. I don't know why we keep dragging our self back to the mesolithic age(stone age) when other developed countries are in the future already. I am waiting to see how he is going cause fracas, they know the might of our incoming president. It will be brain(buhari) vs brute(asari). What struggle are they struggling sef Mumu people that will destroy pipeline, the same crude will destroy their environment they will now open their dumb mouth and say Shell to pay them billions. I tell you south south people are seriously suffering most of them leave on raft houses. With exception of the thieves there (jonathan, ayiri, dokubo, tompolo, boyloaf) Violence begets Violence. At the end of war, it won't be about who won, it will be what's left!!!
Remember our bloody civil war. God bless nigeria.

If SS/SE was considered a conquered territory, a "conquered GEJ" (in your words) would NEVER have been president of a united Nigeria.

Soon, with common sense politics, an Igbo man will be a president of a united Nigeria.

So, you all should chill and be patriotic before you're treated as outcasts!.

Exactly, the more they go against Nigeria the more Nigeria goes against them.

Why is this guy always making noise, especially when no one is saying anything. Does he think he can intimidate anyone? Asari, if you must know, you and you people have lost golden opportunity actualise a dream and God help you if you ever get it back. Before Jonathan became president the noise from niger delta is resource control despite thefact that OBJ had given you people 13% but after six years of Jonathan you are still on the 13% and since then NOT one person from niger delta has talked about resource control, what a shame. Your noise would have been honourable if you kept the fight for resource control on even under Jonathan but you foolishly thought four years is forever, now you lost election and you wont let us rest. You people should be ashamed of yourself. In the history of Nigeria, it has never happened that federal govt wld not be able to pay salaries but today, after six years of Niger delta rule, Nigeria is borrowing money to pay salaries only five months into the budget. If your man won the election Nigeria wld have been grounded by 2019, five years as PDP leader and a ruling party is destroyed. Please let somebody tell this rogue to keep quiet.

You still have no point. Igbos had will power too, they lost!

South had the required population to win at the referendum, do the SE and SS have what they had? You cant win Nigeria in a war, you dont have the numbers.

Scotland is still under the UK government with Cameron as their PM and Queen Elizbeth II as there monarch.

The Nigerian state has done everything possible to make sure ND stands exceptional ahead of other states tru nndc,13% derivation,ND ministry etc. This is a rear opportunity.Do u knw there was nothing like that to north, west and east when they nursed the nation with gnut, cotton, cocoa and coal.

I am sure u don't want the multi ethnic nature of ND to become like the south Sudan

The stupidness of some of the NDeltans that seek independence together with SE do not know what they are fighting to get themselves into. They will soon become slaves to the Igbo and the whole process will restart.
