See the lousy campaign materials PDP ran in Rivers State. The Hate campaign of demonizing fellow citizens just for power. And it is pathetic someone find it praise worthy.

Why do you think it wrong to warn Rivers people about Dakuku's sincerity? Dakuku was obviously chosen to help continue the subjugation of the region by Northern oil magnates.

I didn't see you berating the campaign of APC Lagos where a serving monarch was deployed to do the hatchet job on Agbaje.

And the people scuttled that Northern agenda in Rivers state, by ensuring Dakuku, I mean Amaechi, didn't win the elections.

You call him a traitor for exercising his right? A traitor is a betrayer so I'm guessing you're giving him that name for not supporting a son of the Niger Delta or Lower Niger as you call it.
Peterside is a Traitor and Betrayer. Not because he supported Buhari but because he sought to insult the sensibilities of Rivers people and called for the nullification of their collective will because the people supported Goodluck Jonathan over Buhari.

You have a point on Dakuku banking on the "Judas of Ubima" and the "Riverine sentiment" but if he hadn't acted the way he did he wouldn't have lost so much sympathy especially from the riverine people. I know some people from the riverine area that saw Wike as a true brother and friend, and Peterside a traitor and enemy within after that drama. The drama not only sought to denigrate Rivers but to embarrass Goodluck Jonathan. As at today, you and I know that Peterside has sealed his political career in Rivers.

I am so happy that Wike won. His victory is a testament the Rivers is a united state and wÍll ever choose unity over treachery.

Yu are rite.
I'm also happy that the akpako master Mr. Chidi Lloyd didn't return to the state assembly even Andrew Uchendu. This men boasted in the studios of Radio stations in Port Harcourt that they hav the support of the electorate jus before the elections and was everywhere shouting that APC was on ground even when ma little cousin knows better.

I laff him cos it was only in his local govt ma local govt that he Dakuku won.

GEJ my HERO, Wike my Role Model

Dakuku showed that his canidacy was not for Rivers people but to sell Rivers just like Amaechi. He showed that he is of the same stock as Amaechi. Both of them have been thrown into the dustbin of Rivers history. They are the modern day Afonjas.

With the planned reduction of derivation and northern states asking for same derivation, Wike has never been this important to the region as he is now.
We need Wike to spearhead the agitation for an increase in derivation not a reduction in derivation.

I tell you. Little wonder the APC are so primitive and desperate in their attempt to frustrate Wike's victory.

The most annoying part of it is that APC always find it difficult to concede defeat. The question i do ask myself is that 'are they perfect in all ramifications?
My advice for PDP is for them to step up their games and save all PDP winning state from APC impeachment. APC lack grassroots structural program so PDP can take focus on that.

Thanks, Bro. It's indeed Wike's gain. It's even a bigger gain for the people of Rivers state. Never in my life had I witnessed such protest and sympathy votes as we're orchestrated by the good people of Rivers state.
But for the defection of Amaechi, Dakuku Peterside would have simply strolled into Government House, as it was the turn of the Riverine people to occupy the seat. Amaechi defected; Peterside lost. That's the way it is.
Amaechi was and is still tagged a traitor, a name I'm not in support since he simply exercised his conscience. The Riverine let go of their right, and supported the Hurricane Wike, an Upland candidate, to help clip some of the wings of Amaechi. Wike is the only man that could tame the lion of Ubima, and he did it well.
It's indeed Wike's gain.
The biggest gainers are the people of Niger Delta and the South Easterners. Collectively the people showed that our collective unity is more important than anything else. SincerelÝ, I am very happy for Wike, and I admire his resillence and his commitment to Rivers aÑd the entire SS/SE people.

You're very correct. Actually, I've stopped seeing the APC as a political party, but a dangerous monster still undergoing metamorphosis!

It's an oppressive and demonic assembly! As time goes on, we shall see it for it truly represents.

my observation concerning APC is that majority of APC are the one holding Nigeria at ransom. I see Goodluck and iwela stepping on their stone, touching there wounded flesh this resulted in different propaganda and blackmail of GOODLUCK regime

Going by OP posts on this thread, I wish to state that as far as INEC declare Wike winner of Rivers state at the just concluded election, do not necessarily translate to collective will of the people. considering these points
1. Personally, before I left PH late February this year many of my friends (who works in reputable organization or control their own business) prefer Peterside to Wike based on his leadership tenure in Obia/Akpor LGA of Rivers state, which became most notorious and acclaimed thuggery LGA in Rivers state. I believe I don't need to describe his leadership as Minister.
2. The drama of Rivers state returning officer when called to announce the results put a question mark to the result itself as he claimed to have wrote the result "under special conditions". Apart from that, all election observers acclaimed that election in River state do conform to international standards. Also, the figures allocated to PDP put a doubt to how real the figure was compared to reality.
