Got to the hospital at 4 am. The nurse tried VE but could not gain access as the membrane was obstructing the examination. Then she burst the membrane and discovered that I was already 8cm. She asked me to stand up for a while and lie when am tired. So I did. After a while I lay down and then came the almighty pains. It was as though my waist was about to be ripped off. I felt the urge to poo but the nurse told me not to try it as it is my baby's head that is causing the urge to poo, she advised I put breathing techniques to practice but that wasn't reliving the pains. After a short while she then asked me to push when I feel the urge again. After about 3 push my baby came at 5:30am though I was given episiotomy. God is faithful.
@ Surysuri.May God console and comfort you. He will surely give you double for your loss all you need do is have faith and trust Him. It is well with you.

MY DEAR, am in the same shoes with u and had to ask my doctor who says its nothing to worry about as long as you dont have shortage of breath. the risk is on the mother and not the baby so i check my self and sleep in d most comfortable position till date, which is on my back. Team July, pls anyone experiencing serious back and leg cramp abi pain. Getting up in the morning from bed is a prayer point. I guess u would tell me its part of the package. God dey.

The pain is usually Sciatica, it's caused by your joints weakening due to the hormones and weight distribution going on. There's no cure for it except Physiotherapy. Change the way you get out of bed: Sit up, swing both legs off bed to touch the ground and get up. Same with how you get in bed: Sit down, swing both legs in. Same with how you get in a car, get out of a car. Try not to jump up or fall down into chairs or beds but move slowly into them. You can get a gym ball (they sell them in traffic as exercise balls) and sit on it (inflated) and be making figure 8 with the ball. Change the way you sit, always prop pillows beneath your lower back when sitting and don't slouch. Also, stop walking and pushing your stomach out (if you do), it is curving your spine and causing you to feel more pain. Also, if you swim (and yes you can totally go swimming, it's recommended), do the breazt stroke, not freestyle. It helps relax your muscles, exercises you and makes you tired enough to sleep better through the night.

I'm a Team July and I usually get this when I've been moving around in the wrong manner.

If the pain doesn't go away as soon as you start this, then it may be a sign of something else, talk to your doctor.

My birth story,for those dat hav been going thru my post I was supose to b team June mom but due to my premature labour hav ben having Dr as me to tak some injection so as to help me reach 37wks which I did,then I told him d day I will like to deliver which was on Friday n he agreed to it,so I came dt morni @ abt 10am went for inducing then after 2hr my Dr help me broke d water later place me on drip so gradually I startd daliting although it was painfully later the my Dr insertd is hand n startd doing sm turning to quicken it,still in pains then bf I knew it I told him I wantd to poo then he said I shld go ahead which I did then after fews push my prince came out....imagine I have two girls bf but scan told me it was a girl again n I hav been havin sleepless night but ThankGod it was a boy so am really really happy. Naming ceremony on fri expecting everyone.lol.sorry for d long story

missmalachi: I started sleeping on my left frm the first day after I got my BFP , second trimester, I couldn't keep up, infact I slept yakata (back o, front o, sides o). bt now I sleep on my left or right but somethings wake up on my back bt sometimes I wonder, some pple sha don't go to hospital or know any of these things and they give birth sound nd safe. MAY GOD HELP JARE
But try as much as possible to sleep on ur left, it help with circulation of blood and also It takes all the pressure off of the vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart.

Hafsat24: Sometimes discharge in preg is normal, what I did was to start using pant liner, it makes me feel comfortable, u can try it.
