Etymology

Ahaba in Igbo is from 'Ahabagom', meaning I have chosen well, a quote from the founding father (Nnebisi) of Asaba.

Notable people

Chief Dennis Osadebay.[4] Do he sing in Yiriba?
Chief J.I.G. Onyia.[5]
Joseph Chike Edozien.
Maryam Babangida.[6]

Asaba (Igbo: Àhàbà)[1] is the capital of Nigeria's Delta State, and has an estimated population of 150,032 (2006 census)

Illiteracy is too rampant in Yoruba land.

I hope this can feed your ignorance foools. The composition of Asaba is mainly of Igbo people.

Those that want to die can join their brothers in Benin republic.

Asaba is NOT igboland, it was a refugee camp nigerian govt used to shelter and rehabilitate ibos during the war. I understand that refugees often have special attachment to camps like this one, especially after decades of still living there, but it will NEVER be an igboland.
