hello every1, first of all, my wife's EDD is first week in April. she s in her 13th week and she s just developingal cold, headache, backpain and spitting(though not much). although, she didnt have this during her first three months other than morning sickness or tiredness , sometyms.she will start her ante-natal by next week anyways.Moreso, it's her first preg.Is this normal...is there any advice at all i can extend to her?

Welcome baba baby. Tell your wife to do MP test. If it turns out negative then she will need a lot of rest and avoid cold things too.

Mamas make Una pray o!!!!!! I don't understand this kind wind of babies dying after birthing! my sister inlaw Wunmi gave birth yesterday and today the baby is dead!

Didn't even know she has delivered Sef! And to make matters worse she's unconcious and doesn't even know her baby is no more

God please I place her (wunmi) myself (chinwe) and every expectant mother,mother and our children/child into your hands!may we not mourn any woman or child in this forum again!

May the spirit of untimely death pass over us in Jesus name amen.

I throway salute to all the mamas in the house. Your congratulations & goodwill messages are awesome.
Since, I am always the first to advocate for BS, here goes mine...
Due date was 18th, but nothg to show for it. Came back to see the doctor at 40+6 & doctor says baby is big measuring at 3.8kg and considering my petite size &borderline plevis, she won't be comfortable inducing. She gave me till complete 42wks to go into labour naturally or resort to CS. Fron then onward it was serious kabashing & praying, exercising & dancing. Already tried the pineapple thingy, didn't work for me though I might not have taken it as much as I should. Fastforward to 29th morning around 12.30am, I was woken up by this strong contractions. From then on it came every 5mins. DH suggested we get to the hospital asap, but I objected cos I wanted to see if it wud last the whole night. Then as from 3pm, mucus plug started coming out bit by bit. Around 4.30am, I had a hot bath & that helped the contraction to ease a bit-every 10mins, got dressed for the hospital. We arrived there around 5.30am, saw a doctor who examined me and said I was 3cm dialated & put me on drip. Around 10am, another doctor came in and checked and was only 4cm dialated. All these while the contractions were getting intense. Girls were no longer smiling. It got to a point I forgot all breathing techniqes, I was now screaming, I was checked again at 12noon, still same way & doctor advised that making me wait for another 12hrs to see if wud fully dialate would be pure toture and said we should opt for cs immediately. DH didn't waste time to sign the necessary papers and preping for CS began. Went into the theater around 2.30pm and by 3pm baby was out and it was all over.
I bless the name of God for the wonderful gift of a princess even though I wanted a prince and scan kept saying it was female. I guess that how you know a diva, she takes her time to leave the oven after preping.
My prayer for all expectant mothers is that God will visit all in a special way before the end of this year.
