Good evening mamas. Pls I need ur help. I did a scan on Friday (37 weeks) everything is okay with baby,cephalic presentation and all that but my cervix measured 4.1cm which I heard is too long for my GA.
Pls what's the implication of this? Is it something to be scared of. Pls I need ur reply asap.

No its not. According to what I read, it could be btw 3-5cm and shortens as you near due date. It may just mean that you may have to wait longer than you expected to meet your LO or perhaps you had a longer cervical length before getting pregnant. Besides longer is way better than shorter, shorter causes premature labour/ delivery or miscarriage.

Mamadowell, pls let her go to the hospital asap. Once bitten should be 10 times shy o.

Meaning that me weh they thing say i be 34 weeks pregnant this week is now officially 36+3 weeks ! Ozycy jejely put my name for team October! Because my baby don take him hand port already ! I wanna start pineapple feast and tip stimulation, and kpekusing and trekking by Monday next week!
Hoping to birth my honorable prince by 20th of this month! La agbara Chineke! Amem.

team mate... The most accurate scan to date a pregnancy is the first scan. Late scans ain't to date pregnancy...

This mama eh, I like the way you are giving yourself hope . Late scan usually bring your date forward. 2weeks plus difference ? Hmmm. My eyes are on you. Do the pineapple experiment let's see how it goes, am sure if it works, oda mama wil follow asap.
