go to the nearest post office close to you and pick up your parcel
if it's not there show them the message they will tell which post office to go to pick your item up

I went to the state main post office here in Ibadan and i was told its not here, and in regards what the tracking numbers says. its somewhere in NGLIT (Nigeria Lagos Island Territory) Dont know exactly where to go in Lagos. The package was suppose to come to Ibadan

that's a big mix up sorry why not ask if it can be sent down to ibadan from lagos?

The item got to Nigeria on the 25th (I tracked it online using the CW.. tracking number the seller gave me). When i saw that delivery was being delayed, I contacted the closest NIPOST office. The officer there promised to contact someone at customs for me (because when I tracked the number on nipost website, it showed that the item was sent to customs since the 27th). He called me back and said the item was seized by EFCC (and that the order came from Abuja). And advised I contact the seller with the problem and give him a feedback.

What should I do?

I ordered some items and used Singapore post untracked and it was shipped out since 27th September 20th 2015. I have't received the items and Its been a month plus. Should I ask for a refund?

that's what they do.next time order to a USA shipper first the they ship to you.customs will never ship.the reason they held on to it is because oyibo name dey there

My question is do I still need to pay some forms of customs charges when the clothes arrives? and how do they charge whether it is by percentage or which ever way, cos am scared of this naija ooo and their way of hyping things.

although I have been using procurement companies to buy items but their charges are way too high sometimes one will pay almost double amount cost of the items just for you to get them to naija, and after they might have arrive lagos you will have to pay another charge to dispatch to ur state,

Go with a valid form of identification and ensure the name on the parcel matches the ID

You need to use a physical address i.e. address of a building

12th as in yesterday? You need to give at least 10 working days for it to arrive Nigeria. Besides, the category of the mail is LC as in local meaning as soon as it leaves USA, it stops tracking. So you have to be VERY, VERY vigilant and start disturbing them at the post office as from 25th of this month.

Letters can sometimes spend up to 2weeks at the ISC due to backlog. Why not give till Friday. I'm sure it will get to the destination.

If you have not collected it..when going there go with the tracking no sent to you from where u purchased the Item and a valid ID . The name on d ID must correspond with the name on the package.

You can buy and forward it to that ur procurement company. There will only charge you for shipping. Then as for using NIPOST I know you will pay between 5-20% of what ever amount custom feel is d cost of your package..and you will also pay handling charge to NIPOST too.

Please who do you think I can call in nipost? all 4 documents I sent are showing 'processed through ISC sorting facility in newyork' since nov 5 on usps website but when I contacted the schools, one said they have gotten my document while the other 3 said they didnt..do you have nahco customer care no or who do you suggest I call?

Visited nipost today and they said it hasn't arrived, he just collected my number and said he'll call when it comes.. Lord knows I don't trust em.. Just don't have a choice here jesu gbawa.. If I'd known this lc is like this shebi na to warn am against using it..

@toerflee: I do not reside in the country but i sent a brother to check at the post office but that was fruitless as they were unable to provide the package. I had to wait for almost a month before the arrival of the package, i suggest you allow a little bit of time as i am sure the package would be delivered.

There is nothing much nipost can do because since one of the schools has received your document, that means that your parcels have arrived the U.S.
Once the letters leave Nigerian borders, it's out of NIPOST's hands.
Just try to be more patient and keep calling the other schools for update on your documents.
Pele, it must be very frustrating, I know.

Actually visited the Lagos Mainland General Post Office ystday. Woman was nice enough to check thru their logs for my parcel, buh wz nt found which implies my parcel hasnt arrived yet. Will just ve to be more patient till the Ship on the High Sea with my package docks. if u have this kind of a "LC……US" tracking id, you on a long thing. Just sit back, buh dnt relax. For ur package shall travel for 40 days and 40 nights.
