More often than not, many guys fall for prepared and packaged scam as romantic affairs on social media platforms and even in offline situations! Below are some ways to identify that romantic affair of yours as a well processed, packaged and delivered scam!!! :

1) Their profile picture looks too posh for their personality. She tells you that she is a student of Ibadan Polytechnic but her profile carries the picture of an African-American model! It is either you are dealing with a male like you or a female who is using 'beauty' and 'sexiness' to scam you! Google pictures of African-American models and you might just find out that your 'babe's profile picture' is there!

2) They claim to be older or younger than their profile picture. This is because they don't know the actual age of the person's photo they are using! Lol!!!

3) They always have weird usernames containing "4real" or "4luv" on media platforms

4) They are very quick to address you with pet names such as 'baby', 'sweetie', 'honey pie', 'my love, 'my baby', 'my boo' and the rest not minding the fact that you guys just met!!! See scam o!

5) They over use emoticons even when it is not necessary! Most times you send 'her' an instant message, 'she' uses emoticons to reply. They are not sure of what to say; they just use that to buy more time.

6) They avoid giving straight answers to questions that have to do with their personal life and aspirations!

7) They will never allow you to visit. Instead, they would request you send them money to visit you! The moment you fall for this, you will wait endlessly while day-dreaming of big buttocks and boobs! Sex-starved and love-ravaged guys always fall for this scam! Before you know, deh go use your money take press or see front!

8. To them, love equals financial assistance. If you do not send them money or help them out with what they ask, you do not love them.

9) They claim to love you either immediately or within 24-48 hours. Na wa o! Na so love dey quick?

10) If you catch them on an inconsistency, they will claim a friend or relative must've been using their id to chat with you, they will always try to come up with a coverup and of course, you are always wrong or mistaken.
