Lol
If we can just get peak kobe for one more game this would be my choice.
Make Mamba go for like 60.

cheesy wishful thinking though but then "anything can happen"

Kobe is done for real....the Lakers need a new franchise player....rebuilding process still on.

Everyone is distracted from the main problem here and that is the Clippers team, I am not exactly sure last night should be about the come back by the Warriors but the lack of discipline by the Clippers which has been a recurring issue..

I have always made my opinion obvious about the Clippers since the assembly ( the trade for CP3, to join DJ and Griffin) and they only buttressed my opinion that they are just a bunch of lazy over-paid players basking in the euphoria of "Show time LA".

I dare anyone to put the blame on Doc Rivers, several sound off were played where he was screaming his lungs out on defending the pick and roll or contesting shots and not wait for after shot rebounds.

Harrison Barnes and D. Green started the come back with consecutive three's and I told my pal the Clippers were losing that game, they went from moving the ball to ISO basketball, trying to match the Warriors jump shooting, once a game transitions into a duel of who makes more jump shots especially from "downtown" no team in the league would defeat the Warriors.

Aside my belief that Doc Rivers is overrated i think the issue of chemistry is a strong one too. The Clippers made a lot of panic moves (stockpiling fallen stars and ageing vets) without really taking time to find out if they would mesh. I can't identify their system yet as most of these guys are playing without a philosophy on either end of the floor, hence they are regularly getting torched by more cohesive teams, just look at the Raptors game and watch how Luis Scola was dissecting them with mind boggling ease. DeAndre would have been a massive waste. Thank God he didn't come to the Mavs

Two teams that can stop gsw at the moment, San Antonio spurs and cavs (with kyrie though)

I am a Spurs fan and while I don't doubt our defence, I am worried by our offense....but then the last time GSW won in San Antonio, Stephanie Curry was 8......

As for the Cavs, you are setting em up for a beat down

The Pacers started the season 0-3 but have looked very serious and are playing some great basketball on the back of Paul George who has fully transitioned into an offensive machine..

birdman:

you think cp3 is a lazy overpaid player?

In many aspects? Yes.. That team lacks leadership, I mean genuine leadership especially in the post season, the stars are too lazy to stick to game plans and want to whine all through the game.

Considering the Warriors are 16/0, have set the NBA record for best start and are playing some cohesive basketball (yes I have already included the game against the lackluster Lakers) playing under Luke Walton the assistant to Steve Kerr, is it safe to assume Kerr is disposable? especially if his health does not improve..

Can the Warriors repeat without Kerr, strictly with regards to inputs from Coach Kerr..

GSW looking unstoppable at the moment...I wish they go all the way #DreamTeam
Re: The NBA Begins by Killrhymz: 9:06am On Nov 25, 2015
Eight of Golden State's next nine games are on the road, so perhaps a loss is on the horizon, although they'll likely be favored in every game.

I doubt the Spurs can stop GSW, anything can happen but i just feel certain guys like Aldridge for example will not produce the effort required on both ends to beat the Warriors

The Cavs do have a chance but again i don't think they are being pushed hard enough in the East and that could be crucial

I think the value of a good coach shows itself more in the post season.
Where minor adjustment and lineup changes matters kerr already show he can do this very well.

So I don't think GSW repeat without Kerr.

I dont think kerr is disposable, cause of on the reason why mark jackson was fired was because he couldnt draw up plays at crucial times, and his plays just wasnt good enough. Remember, mark jackson coaching ability usually gets exposed time and time again in the playoffs, although you could argue teams then the spurs, miami, and okc were just better.

kerr has shown he could do that, especially in the post season. Guy can draw up plays, has the respect of his players also.

This team right now is really good, regardless who coaches them. The players are good individually, and they just gel together.

Luke walton is doing a fantastic job by the way, kudos to him. But if kerr is out for the whole year which is highly unlikely, we can then see how talented this guy walton is.

I think its unlikely Kerr does not return at some point however what is key to note is Golden State have a system in place.
It was wildly rumored that Alvin Gentry was the mastermind behind Golden State's offence but he has left and they are still thriving while Gentry is struggling to implement this 'philosophy' with the Pelicans. I think its pretty clear it will boil down to how much the Warriors can keep executing on a nightly basis and not the presence or absence of Kerr.

Both Kerr and Walton also have the Zen master as their mentors a factor a lot of people are taking for granted, they might not be playing the triangle but they have clearly borrowed certain elements

The Lakers need a total overhaul, the current state of the Lakers franchise is quite troubling for the NBA, getting rid of B. Scott would merely place a bandage on an open wound, the Lakers are bleeding right now, management seem indifferent about the whole situation, they had the opportunity to redeem some of that in the draft by picking Okafor who I think has been the rookie of the year thus far despite the results of the 76ers but they blew it by picking a fancier but less hardworking and less talented D. Russel, don't forget how Aldridge addressed the franchise as "unserious" after his first visit.

The Lakers desperately need an experienced and disciplined head coach who has a philosophy and has the demeanor to gain respect from these Lakers and Luke Walton does not exactly fit that shoe, Luke is coaching a group of players who are playing a system, Kobe has to realize it's no longer a Kobe's team heading to the future, Infact at this point, it's nobody's team.

Because fisher is also a mentee of the zen master and he isn't so highly regarded.

Brad steven of the boston celtics now I respect that guy but with this marcus smart injury they would drop some easy games.

I think one of the reason why they didnt go with russell was because they wanted randle to develop, but that was stupid bevause they could have had a dominant front court for years to come, all they needed was probably a Small forward or power forward depending on where you want to play randle, and they would be winning games right now.

They probably took russell too because everyone believes PGs requires lesser time to develop into the nba. I dont even know how okafor didnt go 1st overall as i think he is much more talented than everyone in that draft. you are right though, the management needs a change.

Towns better than okafor in everything aside from low post scoring.
It strange that you would pick okafor before towns

okafor his getting doubled team and he is a rookie, heck, he dominated towns when they both played.

guy is averaging about 2 blocks a game, almost 20 points, and almost 10 rebounds. if ge had better players and better vets around him like the wolves does, that team eould be winning games in a weak east.

With his only decent player mostly injured I don't know if your assessment is a fair one. You can see they have made significant improvement this year by adding Porzingis who is showing rookie of the year potential

He'll put up big numbers because he is on a bad team, towns is the 2nd option on a decent wolves team and some games he looks like their best player.
Okafor is also bad at free throws.
