Does anyone know where biometrics are done for the Australian visa in the UK?

From my experience, you don't need biometrics if you are applying from the UK. You can have your medicals done before applying to speed up the process. The application is paper based and sent via post. Hope that helps.

I should have stated I'm not resident in the UK so it's a bit iffy.

They are still insistent I have my Biometrics carried out which means I have to cut my trip short.

Not funny.

[quote author=bhanjjie post=40363713]Hi guys,

Hi bhanije. I started following this thread on Sunday.still trying to read up. I don't have answers to your question. I intend to use pfl too and also study public health. While wa await the responses of the gurus, kindly advise on how much the tuition is per annum in naira and the length of the course. I have checked the website, nothing to satisfy my curiosity.
Thanks

and also after graduation one can apply for the 2yr post study work permit, work for 2years before applying for PR right? / one can also choose not to apply for d post study permit and apply for PR straight without any work experience right?

thanks
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by bhanjjie: 8:23pm On Nov 24, 2015
Programme Length is 1.5yrs
Annual tuition is app 28,000 AUD ( the naira equivalent will depend on the exchange rate when you pay, but it's best to assume it'll be btw N150 - N155 per 1AUD)

You pay 8,000 AUD tuition deposit + 946 AUD for health insurance to accept your offer once you receive your offer letter.

The programme is under SVP.

Please note that the info above is for University of Queensland as requested.
You may want to check other schools that run the programme for 2 yrs for Post Study Work Permit reasons.

Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University offer MPH for 2 years. Flinders University Is the only school in a regional area (i think) that offers the course, however, It lasts only 1.5yrs. If PR is your ultimate goal, then Flinders might help you achieve that easily.

I hope this helps.

Thanks.

Guys, I need your Input...

As expected, My Visa Condition stipulates I have an active OSHC before entry to Oz.

My School sent me my OSHC Agreement with MEDIBANK. My school has also said I should contact medibank directly for any extension of my OSHC start date.

I have called medibank severally and also emailed them; Still no feedback.

I don't want to take chances, what else can I do?
Gurus, come help a brother! Thanks in Advance.

Good day all.

Please I need advice on how to send my documents to USC as regards the courier service to use. One which will be fast, safe and cost effective.
An application I sent to the school through mail including scanned documents, was rejected. They sent me a mail asking me to send the application form with certified copies of my supporting documents directly to the school through courier .

Thanks in advance

Fedex. Reliable and the cheapest in its class (dhl, ups, etc). I always use them.

Congrats on your UQ offer. The “ministry” is growing. I would like to see a Nigerian Students Association UQ, someday.

1. To be honest, I thought you have answered your question already. Here are my thoughts: just make sure the job roles on your CV relates very well to healthcare services. The website approach is also a good idea. In fact, nothing to worry about. Me no just gbadun as you yarn the site for here, try comot am sir. I no wan fo too much.

2. You will receive oral polio vaccine when you go for your medicals. You will be given a letter demonstrating that you have been vaccinated. You will need to include a copy in your visa application. As much as I know, the yellow card will only be needed at the point of entry and not required for visa application.

3. No, you don’t have to CERTIFY your CV, SoP or yellow card.

4. Not necessary bro. Paradoxically, I would put 2 references if I have them.

5. Very tricky question. It’s already been suggested on previous pages, not sure of the page number.

6. On the SoP, I would say something like… my sponsor has enough financial resources to support me throughout the duration of my proposed course.

I will like to seek your view on conditional offer of EAP(English courses) as a pathway to Masters.

Whats are the chances of visa issuance with this condition.

Thank you all.

@chetaRay

From what I know about certified copies...u certify a document because its a photocopy to show its a true copy of the original document so u can't photocopy a certified copy cos u might have to certify to photocopy of a certified document (I'm already getting confused). From what I've gathered on the forum, u have to certify every document ur using for ur application as far as its a photocopy.
My 2cents...hope I helped. Gurus pls help out further.
