2) Imams/Clerics are usually given a higher status when it comes to interpreting the Quran. Even here on nairaland, many muslims refer to the opinion of scholars when they cant answer a question from a non-muslims

3) It can be argued that women and men are of different class according to the religion (dependent on interpretation). Afterall, muslimahs cant marry 4 husbands, can they?

Hinduism: I guess you know what people go and do in river Ganges (If miracles were not promised what would people be looking for in a dirty, disease infested river)
Buddhism: I guess you know what people go and do in their temples, when they buy their incense and make miraculous request (If miracles were not promised, why would you waste your time and money burning incense in front of a statue you made with your hands)
Christianity: I don't want to talk about it (its obvious and you know it) and don't rope only pentecostal churches.

Let's start with Buddhism: Number one, the religion does not believe in the hereafter rather they believe in a system called reincarnation which according to scientists is a materialistic tendency developed in order to cope with harsh reality of the fact that life must end. If Buddhist were not materialistic why are they still strongly attached to this material life
For Christianity: They are many verses that counters the above which I personally believe Jesus couldn't have said but yet scholars twisted his words and still found its way into the bible for obvious reason e.g "go and be fruitful" etc

Please my friend do a quick google search on the life style of Dali Lama (the head of Tibetan Buddhist monk), moreover if you do a quick research on Buddhism you'll realize that their monks don't work, they simply sit in their magnificent temples and wait for offerings from their poor impoverished followers. That's why we have a ridiculous high rate of poverty in places like Thailand, Sri lanka yet their monks live a life of affluence in magnificent temples

On donation: I can tell you again that all religions use their tithes primarily to build and expand their places of worship thereafter charity EXCEPT Islam where it is haram to use Zakat (tithes) to build or expand a mosque

Reread what I posted, I said "EXCEPT THE PIOUS ONES". The noble Prophet was the most pious as a prophet of Allah, hence got special privileges. In the case of a scholar or Imam, they are not superior to anyone in the sight of Allah we only respect them based on their knowledge and we criticise them according if what they say is against the Quran or sunnah. Its like saying Doctors are superior to everybody! Nooo, we only respect doctors based on their knowledge.
For men and women, we believe in gender specialisation. Both male and female are equal in the sight of Allah e.g if a man or woman commits fornication the punishment is the same
