I purposely used something to cover the Gionee at the back of the phone. Once people sees it, they would be like "what kind of phone is this" and turned to the back but to be disappointed.

The good and bad..So far,i hv noticed slight hassles.First of all i had to uninstall touch pal because of the annoying voice prompt of the lady as you type.The google keyboard is better.Also bbm keeps closing in d background whc can make ping notifications delay or not show up,but whatsapp runs perfectly.Once the bbm connected sign is on d notification center,u can get notifications.I feel the phone closes it to conserve battery and ram.Also, while downloading with uc browser and u minimize it,it closes. That automatically pauses the download. The way around that is to keep d ucbrowser app open till the download is over.Asides these issues whc i can live with,i still see it as perfect for me.Gionee did a good job here.The note,calendar app,music,system manager (whc houses a battery saver,data manager,ram cleaner,application manager and others are all very efficient.That disposes of the need to download battery doctor and clean master. The call and message app has d ability to block calls and messages from persons you want to blacklist.The music player is awesome,has a nice ui.It sounds great and has very good speaker output.The gionee earpiece isnt so good,maybe because i am an audiophile.Its decent for an average music lover,but i prefer in ear headsets,u know the good stuff like havit,beats and skull candy. The bass wasn't as good as it could have been considering the DTS audio the phone has.I used my Samsung in ear galaxy s4 earpiece and it was very nice.The Music output became much more clearer,with good bass.The camera is ok,but not so spectacular.You get the best result when you take the pics outdoor,or with flash in a dim environment..The phone launcher is perfect,if you know how to customize it.Overall,the phone is a good buy and i would buy it all over again without hesitation.

Modified:i updated my my bbm app to the current version,it solved d notification issues.I can now receive pings even when the bbm app isnt running in d notification center.I was using a version released early last year,that's y i had those issues.@olayinkajnr and shedo4sure, i am currently using the power saving mode.It conserves battery better than the normal mode.

nice review... Advice: don't use any power optimizer 2 avoid those bbm and uc mini complaints of yours... D fone multi-tasks better while in normal mode..... D choice is yours...

YOU don't need to root before changing font. Just install ifont, and apply any font you want. It's supported

Ifont can't brick your phone coz it's already supported. It has been activated and enabled in build.prop by default. And since you don't need root access to use it, it's totally safe. Ifont don't really brick phone, only some fonts does. Checkout the ss below

toh,i no get long throat,d gionee fonts reach me.Besides,i dont want to overload d fone with different apps to start sucking my battery and ram.

So other than usb otg, 2gb ram, 128gb sd card capacity, 8/5mp cameras, infrared, metallic body, 4000mah battery, where I no go too use, this m5 mini na waste of time o?

Hallaaaaa...my phone has arrived.I placed the order 1pm yesterday,konga delivered to my office by past 4pm today.Thumbs up to konga,they never cease to impress me.What can I say?It was love at first sight.The ui is cool,very fast and responsive.Many apps were preinstalled on it eg ucbrowser,2go and some others.I just did a quick tour before turning it off to charge later.
Upon opening the box,I got 2 extra covers (blue and gold),Plus the black I ordered for.The black colour is a finger print magnet..infact,mtn should use it for sim registration.But it can be solved by using the transparent pouch that came with it.I looove the gold,it gives it this premium look.that would be my go-to color for now.
Other accesories include :earphones,charger,usb cord,screen protector,(with cleaning cloth) and transparent pouch.Further review would come by tomorrow when its fully charged.
The device looks very sleek,lightweight and thin.The screen resolution is very sharp and not laggy.If not for gionee logo on it,with d gold cover it could be mistaken for an iphone 6.I can't wait to start rocking it jare.

the thing is,i play more of puzzle/word games,so i wudnt know what u wud like being a guy.The phone has a lot of preinstalled apps,so u wudnt need so much.You can get more from playstore anyways.I use glo 3gb for 1k bb subscription on it.

@olayinkajnr,i got d ifonts....i blame u for mentioning it ,soo many nice fonts,i am even confused.i like d fact that each downloaded font is saved to d fone memory,so even if i delete d app,it would show alongside d gionee fonts.

my dear,i was amazed at the speed of delivery.My mind was set at getting it in like 3-5days time.Its probably because i used kongapay via my bank, instead of cash on delivery. The camera quality is very ok esp in good lighting.Like 4 of my friends were all complimenting the pic i took with d phone's default front camera(no camera 360 or filters used),evidence below.
