[quote author=Stylishmum post=42640123]Congrats to all successful visa applications, all successful POEs entry, to all mothers and fathers for our LO's , also to all preggers..... e ma so layo o.....loruko Jesu. And to all waiting on the Lord, May God satisfy your innermost heart desires speedily! Amen!

I went, saw and conquered. Operation mission accomplished.....

I had a scheduled CS with Dr E and my bills remained the same, except of course for NICS and Brown n associates.

NICS discounted to $419.98(I still don't get the change in prices)
Brown and associates discounted to $81.02

I eventually sorted my toddler's ticket with Airfrance by paying $1,500.50 at the airport after being told by an uninformed customer rep to add him to my mum's ticket from the Houston to Paris leg, then pay the difference of fare for Paris to Lagos leg (lesson learnt...... please read the airline requirements before purchasing not minding the information given to you by their customer service. Thank you to everyone for your help and to those who contacted me privately.... I appreciate you too. Thank you.

To accommodation, please shine your eyes well especially for the seemingly not-so-expensive accommodation that eventually allows you spend more on transportation.....I stayed at a shared apartment with my bathroom n toilet, only shared kitchen and living room, the distance to the clinic was 28-32 mins depending on traffic(in houston, that was far!) I ended up spending the savings I got on accommodation on transportation and even more!

Please take accommodation really close to the clinic like about 10-15mins. I met and kept contacts of some wonderful mothers turned sisters at the clinic who stayed in places like 10-15mins, and really made sense with pickup services(if required)

I don't know if it's fine to put up contacts here, before Justwise raptures my post.

Please send me an email at ajokegold@gmail.com. i need information on affordable accommodation in Houston. Many thanks in advance

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by firsttymum(f): 1:49pm On Feb 05, 2016
This pm matter is turning to something else.
1. You will.get answers faster if u ask ur questions here.
2. I am not Google. Haba somethings can b googled.
3. Because someone announces he or she wanna send me a pm regarding something, doesn't mean u shld too.
4. I'm not customer care. I will reply when I av d time
5. Once I sense any form of rudeness I will automatically ignore u. Did u plant me there to b answering ur questions, or u think I don't av things to do?
6. U can't just open an account and send me a pm. I won't reply. No need to spam my mail biko.
7. STOP SPAMMING MY MAILS.

I'm not a guru, I don't av all d answers, I'm just learning and gathering information like everyone else.

FORM A
U must register at d Hospital . And all d info u need is on d invoice.
How to register is totally now ur task.

MBOK I DIDN'T USE FORM A. I'm only aware of d process. Other mamas used it. Ask them for the first hand information. Mine is second hand info.

ASKING ME TO HELP YOU REGISTER AT THE HOSPITAL is hilarious... SERIOUSLY

@All,

CBN just sold $100k to each bank now...(Live Source as at 2:30pm today)...So if you can still make it to the bank today then rush in fast. Target the bank HQs if you can for better chances as its just small amounts that drops to the branches. IBTC, UNION, UNITY, FIDELITY are selling for certain but be prepared to open account.

If I get any use news will revert to y'all.

Cheers

Makes plenty sense, got to know about an accommodation that cost same amount as where I stayed but had so much more attached to the room, free Baby bassinet and carseat, free calls to all US numbers, free pick up and drop-off to clinic up to postnatal, close to my clinic. Everything beautiful, only thing was that she didn't know about NL and all the ladies that use her concierge didn't know too. I already told her about our dear forum and she'll do her advert here so pple can get her contact.
I literally cried when I saw her place when I was almost coming back home. Mtchewwwwww.

@Onlineise, I truly believe this your information because I have been asking and begging all my friends that are bankers for PTA and just yesterday, one of them called and said his friend will help me buy 4k but will give me 2k dollars, I said I am not interested( this is someone that told me before that they have stopped selling long time ago and they don't even do it anymore). He called later and said they will give me 3k, I said I have heard and I will send my ticket and passport but I didn't and today, they called me again.
Thing is, most of these banks have but some privileged staff just hoard it to make money from it buy using their family or friends tickets to buy the PTA and then sell at black market rate to make thier own money.

Let them use an alternative if it's possible. It would be plausible if they were attending the students graduation or something of that nature as immediate family members.

Madam stay away from St Barnabas NJ. You'll end up paying 20k or so. They have even increased their hospital bill sef. I had my first at Newark beth isreal (part of the St Barnabas group). Why not try Overlook or the one Dr Fares is affiliated with ( can't remember the name now)

DW was just denied again...very sad. Anyhoo, she asked if she cld still travel with her current visa b4 it expires end of this month and the officer said "Surr, thats fine".

So people should we take the risk and pray she gets stamp in for 6 months?

Pls gurus advise.
sorry about your wife's refusal, risking it to leave here how about when she gets to the POE she just might get turned back is the truth, so I think you should try again instead and also try to address what you think is the main issue for the refusal, wasting ticket money at this time is critical, sorry about the refusal again

Let her travel now and pray she gets stamped 6 months. If not, you have done your best as human. If she goes back to the embassy, she might get denied again and it's not so good for her visa records.
