Buhari is a President and should the slightest opportunity to paint Nigeria in its best colours before anybody home and abroad. His duty is to sell Nigeria to the world and improve her image. I've never seen or heard any American President asking people not to come to US because they risk been short by gun wielding school children nor Arab heads of state de-marketing their countries due to acts of terrorism etc. China is the headquarters of product faking in the world including drugs. has the Chinese leader used any opportunity to tell the word not to buy China made goods. when people hear comments ( especially negative) from a president about his country they take it more serious. we have our negatives our President isn't the one to remind the world.

He had better stay there. No need to come back home after calling the people he is leading criminals. So himself is a criminal then. What an unguarded comment coming from a so called leader.
President of criminals that is.

Sometimes I wonder how we end up with these type of leaders when we have the best brains in the world. Truly this federalism is not working it is only serving the interest of a section of the country and this has given then the boldness to do whatever they like. They even stylishly call themselves born to rule. What an insult on the sensibilities of the rest of us.

When a president swore to affidavit for educational qualifications, when a president enrolled in his country's armed forces without relevant qualifications and rose to the rank of General and HoS, expect him to believe that his country people are criminals.

Can someone show me exactly where the president called all Nigerians criminals? Are we so filled up with sentiments in this country that we can't separate the truth from plain manipulation! What the president was trying to say is simple. Nigerians should stop seeking asylum abroad because such privileges have been abused by their countrymen in the past due to drug trafficking and other criminal acts. Is this far from the truth? Especially in UK, Nigerians are increasingly filling up the prison system, I dare anybody to bring up facts that are contrarian! Perhaps we feel it's better to be politically correct than being honest but we all know with PMB he speaks from the heart.

Baba leave them oo!

The truth will remain bitter. Him advise don turn to bile 4 wailers stomach o!.

I checked his statement several times and was confused becos there is no word in his statement were he stated that Nigerians are criminals.

you are missing the point......which is that buhari doesn't know his job......
no president goes about badmouthing his country, if you can remember this is the second time he is doing that.......so how does he expect others to treat Nigerians?

Don't mind that headless zombie. His brothers up north are bombing innocent people and kill innocent Christians and other Muslims at the slightest provocation and he's here spewing trash. Senseless Nigerians that leave logs of wood in their eyes while looking for sticks to pick out of others.

With all the criminals in western countries, never seen their presidents speak ill of them like this headless dullard does. With all the slave trade, massacres, stealing of our natural resources, amalgamation, etc, that the Brits did to Nigeria and other countries because of their selfish interests, never seen their leaders spew trash about them or condemn those criminal activities. Yet our headless dullard will always find it easy to further bury the already battered image of this country. Same way, he talked loads of trash about Nigeria plagued with corruption and ill minded individuals, regardless of the fact that he's demarketing Nigeria to the outside world. Little wonder no new investors are coming into the country while many of them are leaving.

Same headless dullard said Abacha didn't steal any money even as hundreds of millions of dollars of Abacha's loot were being recovered till date. But then calls Nigerians criminals?

. I can see u've travelled wide, but your travelling has not really imparted to your life, cos your first response is like that of an agbero "keep quiet there". Secondly, "Nigeria has a bad image". Nigerians having a bad image abroad doesn't mean that all Nigerians abroad are criminals. I might not have travelled but i know several honest nigerians that lives and works abroad. Since you've travelled abroad, Like u claimed, you can only speak for yourself. Cos if u claim to be a criminal doesn't mean dat others are same. Many work very hard for their money.

Buhari didn't tell Oyibo people that his northern Nigeria has chased most southernern Nigerians away from Buhari's north with Boko Haram.

And that many of these Nigerians that escaped to Europe, some seeking asylum, are those chased away from his north.

Buhari has come up to divide and finish up Nigeria.
