Intendy: Point of correction, the mandate is to be scanned into the system. You don't have to be at the bank but my issue is most of the banks are not even aware of the platform or how to access it. |

PETERiCHY: PETERiCHY: You are a bit of a tosser. You sound like those ignorant Americans who blamed Obama for every little niggling issue after Bush had screwed up the economy. You can't even do decent sarcasm. Your constant whingeing and/or attempts at faux self-deprecation is cringe worthy. Might be best all round if you move from vacation mode to permanent exile mode. 13 Likes |

Born2berich:Myself, I am always weary of interbank transfers (other banks). Where your bank platform gives you options, use NIBSS. It is less problematic. |

feelamong: I believe the bank will pay dividend, no matter how small. There are institutions/fund managers that use dividend history as one of the yardsticks for investment consideration. For example, only stocks that have consistently paid dividend in the last 5 years are considered for investment purposes. I think the board will pay like 10kobo. They won't want to smear the dividend paying reputation of the bank. Caveat: I could be sincerely wrong.t 3 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megainvest: 10:32am On Feb 11, 2016 |
The fact that FBNH suffered 14% YoY drop in EPS does not translate to a loss! Recall FBNH, in addition to its 10k dividend, gave a 1:10 bonus in 2015. That bonus can be seen as a 10% payout. So even if the share price is N4, a 10% payout is 40k. I think FBNH will still pay dividend this year. I am watching. 2 Likes |

I see the same scenario that happened yesterday for FCMB is being cooked for Zenith.. Once they are satisfied with the number of bids, expect massive offloadings. |
