@ op. There is difference between the Lord's day and the sabbath day. Yes, the sabbath day is the seventh day, and it is saturday. The jews keep the Sabbath from sundown on the sixth day (i.e. Friday) to sundown on the seventh day (i.e. Saturday). The beginning of the day begins at night
because of Genesis 1:1-2; in the beginning
of the first day it was dark!

Genesis 1:5, "And God called the light
Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the EVENING AND THE MORNING were the first day.
