@oyb

Baring typographical errors, which I care less, grammar reflects the style of the individual author. Dunces such as you will always look good while reworking someone’s original work. Again, you have done nothing to mitigate doubts which led me to identify you as a plagiarizer. It comes natural to boneheads such as you to deliberate on someone’s original work.

This forum is an undisputable testament that you can not even string two coherent sentences together. Grammatically, your constructs have left much to be desired unless when plagiarizing on someone’s original work. Let us assume for the sake of your life that you are good at grammar, one wonders what the hell stops your dumb ass from posting in such a manner.

@Debo

Please do not pay any mind to the jackass known as oyb. Just like his forbearers and few loudmouthed punks of Yoruba extractions, they would digress from issues when confronted with undisputable evidence as the marriage between Akindele and Chinenye, including testimony given by the groom, have provided solution to the protracted argument as the reason behind latest trend in the unions between Yoruba man and Igbo women.

I hope you remembered when some of the loudmouthed fools argued that it was the considerable endowment of Yoruba men rather than the smashing beauty of Igbo woman that had forced the upward trend in such marriages between Yoruba males and Igbo females.

in the whole of nairaland, and the entire 250 tribes in nigeria, can you explain why its only the bad mannered Yoruba boys who take delight in badmouthing their women?

Please explain this curious fact- I'm all ears.

What does this say about Yoruba men? Does it confirm the stereotype that they're lousy, vulgar and promiscous?

I keep wondering why other tribes dont insult their women. Its only the Yoruba men on nairaland who take pride in abusing Yoruba women. Do they think this shows they're better material than other tribes who dont  insult thier women? Or do they think they're scoring some brownie points by doing so, forgetting the fact that they'll still abuse their wives and girlfriends the same way sooner or later, regardless which tribe she comes from?

Or is it the effect of the rampant polygamy in Yorubaland? The only problem I have with Yoruba women is they're too accepting of various types of sh*t  Yoruba men throw at them.

@ tpia

Who is badmouthing women? I simply listed the stereotypes mentioned here so far by Sharon, Dede and the likes. I have little interest in debating these 'Igbo women have hairy armpits' vs 'Yoruba woman have hairy noses' topics. I do like to watch people tear each other up over it though - it's a source of amusement for me.

Anyone who has read my posts knows I mean no harm or denigration. Please take a chill pill, thou noble defender of Oduduwa.  cheesy

If there is an invite for only Yoruba women, you would also have the impetus to drag your ugly self to the rotunda as a legitimate Yoruba lady. Look bad-news, you can not make a blind man’s plate. I pity the innocent man you are about to hook with diabolical means. I would not want to see you first thing in the morning.

However, when some of you after a heavy dose of lager beer, excessively expired palmwine and overdose of ganja, decide to start slandering and attacking Yoruba women as has become the custom around these parts, then I dont see any reason why I should stand idly by without teaching such dumbasses some things they werent taught while growing up.
Palmwine has expiry date? cheesy

Keep up the teaching then. wink

Meanwhile, let me ask a separate question. What happens when an Igbo man is marrying a Yoruba woman? In Igbo culture, the males tend to foot a large portion of the wedding expenses (please correct me if I'm wrong) while in Yoruba culture, the family 'giving away' their daughter tend to shoulder the bulk of the costs of the wedding.

How are the costs handled in this case? Will the Yoruba family insist on marrying off their daughter or will the man have to still cough up all the dough in the Igbo tradition?

Please let someone tell this ugly duck to jump off her high horse. It is always true about the saying that it takes a thief to catch another. It does not come to me as a surprise that a lesbian such as you is fond of calling any male contributor that disagrees with you a gay.

I have made it known on this board about my gruelling plays with beautiful Yoruba ladies. So your gay reference is a mute issue. I challenge you to state if you have made a blind man’s plate. I know this a bidding that will remain a dream to you because of your ugliness.

Your antics on this forum stink to the high heaven. If you were as quarter of beauty as you would want us to believe, your pictures would have been running riot on this forum. Any man that remotely thought of stalking you for a moment needs to be shot.

Well, a few of them, but I think it's because Yoruba men find Igbo women very attractive - and you know they are grin.

funny topic. lol but i remember back in school in naija. my really good friend was igbo and a lot of boys won't get off her back. one would come to our class and start yarning "yellow pawpaw when r u going to talk to me naw" etc. lolol i think he was yoruba too
well, I predict surging bleaching cream sales in yorubaland if these igbo beauties are going to be stealing "our men." lol

but seriously though, who knows 100 yrs from now, tribalism will be just a vague idea or historical fact. there will be no igbo, yoruba, hausa etc we'll just be a people.

I promised not to respond to this post until after you all calmed down.

@POST, Its a good thing that there is inter tribal marriages. It will not cause tribalism to go away. Tribalism is a form of discrimination and its human nature to discriminate. We need to accept it as a good thing that we have the capability to differentiate, associate and bond. I will marry Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, I dont care and that will not stop me from waking up in the morning to curse out your roots and demand that your prove you are a Nigerian. grin

Oh, before I forget. . .that girl is very beautiful, I think they make a fine couple.
