Okay, so am back...Now am going to give you all a comprehensive story line about supergirl and superman...Also to prove that superman is stronger than supergirl.

Pic1: This is the intro to the comic titled "supergirl from krypton'" featuring superman and batman...
Pic2: Kara plane crashes into earth causing major damage...so batman and superman went to check it out...Batman sees kara but thinks she is a threat
Pic3: Batman uses the kyrptonite to weaken her and take kara to his batcave
Pic4: Kara wakes up and goes berserk...Before she destroys the place, supes comes and speak kryptonian language to her and introdues himself as his cousin.

After SM has introduced SG to his natural life style, SM and SG blend in to the environment. But batman doesnt still trust SG so he plans with WW and the amazons to kidnap kara and take her to their island for training and monitoring.

Pic1: Supe gets attacted by several amazons, but he quickly spins and throw them all away in his desparate move to save kara..( remember he didnt know this was a plan)
Pic2: Finally, WW shows up to capture kara and tells supe to back off
Pic3: SM finally follows them to the amazon island but still not happy that they took kara..He wants kara to live a normal life. lol
Pic4: Artemis beats and floors kara in combat, SM quickly moves to grab artemis by the neck thinking she wanted to kill kara...

think you are right but i remember watching a dc animated movie based on the comic series you pasted below and i remember in this particular scene batman ran tests on supergirl while she was unconscious he postulated that based on her bodies ability to absorb the suns rays more efficiently than supes she could be stronger than him potentially. you are so right about supes holding back. simply use super speed plus heat vision 90% of his battles would have ended in one minute

Gbam!!! The animation was shown on tv.

One thing for sure is that superman is so strong, DC had to make him weak...I will post pictures of what superman is capable of doing.

However, because krypto, the super dog is from krypton, does not make it as strong as superman. @AdeLaNa1 take note

yeah, also in the animation, I don't think darkseid vaporized her with his omega beam but in the comics she was vaporized after shielding superman from darkseid omega beam

Maybe, they should have released the 3 hour version...maybe the studio shouldn't have tried to do everything too quickly & put everything & the kitchen sink in it, they should have taken their time. We all know the reason why they did this, if I open my mouth now, folks will say I'm hating... In the words of AngryJoe, "they blew their load too early*...it's all orgasm, no pre-intimacy**."

*if I remember correctly he was referring the Superman's death, he pointed out they should have built this up after another film, where Superman was much loved, saying this would have had a better impact on the Superman hating public or at least shown some reaction from the more noticeable protesters. He also mentioned stuff from the comics that took it's time, making the death a very good payoff.

**that was his general perception of the film - amazing cinematography, badass action, Affleck's amazing Batman, terrible pacing, no real resolution of MoS plot, he thought Superman's death was ballsy, then the last minute implied resurrection a cop out and some other stuff.

Dawn of justice was insane especially when wonder woman [gal gadot] blocked doomsdays blast aimed for batman...and yeah the best scene 'Tell me do you bleed...you will'. Suicide squad to come out later this year and justice league next year. Can't wait!

The one problem i have with DCEU is the keeping the whole universe grounded read "more realistic".
It comic book movies, i think we can suspend our believes for awhile and enjoy some real comic book movie action.

The question of the day of suicide squad is will Jared Leto be able to give us an amazing performance as Heath Ledger (may His Gentle Soul rest in peace)

The way i see it, Jared Leto is going with a different iteration of the Joker, unlike Heath ledger and who is more like Jack Nicholson in the Batman and Robin of old.
As you can see from the Trailer, The new joker is like the one from the Old Batman cartoons (suits and tie) and all. The tattoo craze is from the most brutal version of The Joker, the one who beat the sh*t outta robin in the death in the family comic, who by the way also killed a Robin in the DCEU as shown by the Robin costume in BVS. This joker is a psychopath

I just took a stroll to the Rotten Tomato page of Captain America: Civil War and it's not so funny. User reviews have been rigged with plenty negative reviews even when the movie has not yet been released. I guess some peeps have taken it personal to bring CW user RT reviews down because of the negative critical reception of BvS. You guys need to also see how the reviewer who gave CW rotten score was abused in the most despicable way on his article. I foresaw this happening, I guess this is how the cold war starts between DC and Marvel Fans...lol

Hey guys, Larry Fong has been replaced with Fabian Wagner as the Cinematographer of Justice League: Part I. Larry Fong was the cinematographer in charge of Watchmen and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. I love his style of cinematography though, I hope Fabian does a good job on JL though. Fabian Wagner is the principal cinematographer of Game of Thrones, so I hope he does something exciting with his new position at the DCEU. Amir Mokri was the cinematographer of Man of Steel, I didn't really like his style though.
