Any contrary view?

The portion of the act I quoted is the 1999 CCB act and is upon that basis Tinubu was freed!!Even a member of the CCB confirmed it in the link I posted!!you need to check your source again

My friend law is not mathematics or morality!!! when it gets to the supreme, those Judges would look at the strict interpretation of the CCB act. If you want to nail someone make sure you do your background work very well. Many cases have been won on technicalities
Chukwudi keep disgracing himself since time inmemorial, Saraki case is beyond is so tough that he can't survive it. There's are so many evidence against him wish some was read and testify to today by the witnesses. Beside those that will testify against Saraki is permitted are high profile politician who Saraki has one way or the other offended.

1..... Osinbajo... Saraki mock him and refer to him as a mere commisioner, Mind you Osinbajo have every evidence to proof saraki guilty of all the declaration he made in 2003 cos he bought those properties between 2006/2007 when Osinbajo was the Commisioner for Justice and Attorney General of Lagos state and he will sure sign some documents as the commisioner for justice then.

2.. Nasir El Rufia... He was the FCT minister as then when Saraki buy some properties in Abuja those have not been read but soon we will all read them on here...

Bro Saraki cannot escape this for even disrespecting a whole vice president.

It is already obvious that Danladi Umar of the CCT is biased so I am not expecting any sensible judgement from him,he can as well deliver his Tinubu written judgment tomorrow for all I care.Unfortunateley for him and his paymasters, this case would still be adjudicated up to the supreme court before it is rested.

The main thrust of my argument which I am sure the supreme court will interpret very well is section 3(d) of the CCT act which was not complied by the CCB before rushing to the kangaroo tribunal

the sction stipulates;

Section 3(d) of the CCB Act states that: “The functions of the Bureau shall be ….to receive complaints about non-compliance with or breach of this Act and where the Bureau considers it necessary to do so, refer such complaints to the Code of Conduct Tribunal established by Section 20 of this Act in accordance with Section 20 to 25 of this Act.

Provided that where the person concerned makes a written admission of such breach or non-compliance, no reference to the Tribunal shall be necessary.”

The CCB was supposed to get back to Saraki and reconfirm the declarations stated in his form. This was the same premise upon which Tinubu was freed.Danladi umar obviously acting out a script by his paymasters have already overruled himself on the Tinubu Judgement. But how these portion of the act is interpreted by the supreme court is what will finally decide the case

I've heard your name severally, though this is the first time am seeing your post. You seem to be one hell of a controversial guy.But be rest assured that this case and the Gubernitorial cases which I believe thats where you rest your arguments on is quite different on logical and legal ramifications .Supereme court would have done that in the earlier case of same Saraki if they had wanted to quash the proceedings.

d law does not give judgement based on popular opinions or sentiments. D Clause pa chukwudi mentioned was ignored by CCT so its gonna be a different ball game in Supreme Court.Even justice Umar knows.

I think APC plot is just to force Saraki to resign and lose d SP position so even if d Supreme Court reverses d CCT ruling he cannot get back his SP position.

D guy defaming Supreme Court justices as appointees of G E J erred. When they gave ruling in favor of Lagos and other APC states no complaints.

Am no fan of Saraki but what's good for Tinubu is guud for Saraki

The problem is not how the CCT trial is interpreted but the criminal/ corruption details surfacing in the process. In a sane society and well written constitution. He should have been forced to resign by now.

IT IS NOT A HIDDEN SECRET THAT THE SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA IS COMPOSED OF A CORRUPT MAJORITY. WE ALL KNOW THAT CORRUPTION HAS EATEN DEEP INTO THE FABRICS OF NEARLY EVERY FIELD OF ENDEAVOR, THE SUPREME COURT INCLUSIVE.
THE CORRUPT SUPREME COURT MADE UP OF PDP MAJORITY LIKE JUSTICE MARY ODILI AND CO WHO TOGETHER BAILED OUT BOTH GOVERNOR WIKE OF RIVERS STATE AND GOVERNOR UDOM EMMANUEL OF AKWA IBOM STATE, APPARENTLY IS ALSO SENATOR SARAKI 'S LAST JOKKER.
CERTAINLY, THE SENATE IS SYMPATHETIC TO CORRUPTION OF PDP MEMBERS IN HIGH OFFICES.
REMEMBER THE MAJORITY OF THE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES WERE APPOINTED BY GOODLUCK JONATHAN.

So which prayer did saraki take to the supreme court when the supreme court delivered its judgement that Saraki must face trial.Saraki has exhausted all his case of technicalities from the high court to the court of appeal up to the supreme court.

that the supreme court told saraki to face trial does not mean that he has exhausted that avenue.

the matter will still go to supreme court and there is a tinubu precedent decided by the same danladi

What is there in the independence of an assembly that changes capital projects that will boost infrastructural development of majority to self serving campaign project for a secluded area and inflated a luxury items price by 100%? So much for independence!

one prob with efcc, Icpc, CCB n oda agencies like this, they don't dig deep n block holes before initiating trials. in some places, security n anti corruption agencies investigate suspects for years before running to court, they watch and dig when no one is looking, that way, its hard for people to cover there tracks, not so in Nigeria, they are always in a hurry. I am a kwaran, saraki allegedly stole mostly from us, but on this case, I am sitting on the fence, I have no ish with judiciary, but CCB, like efcc kinda dumb.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nigerians are just DUMB

Saraki would find a loophole to rubbish the trial and they would be back to square one. They just want to look like they are working, that's all.
