Congratulations.

You said you've not been hearing of UNL. Well, I actually got admission last year for a course in Durham school of Architecture but I had it deferred to Fall this year. I was hoping for funding then but I got a fellowship which left me with about $34k to pay.

Did you get funding?

I remembered what I told the VO, My father is my sponsor smiley.

God go do am.

Are you in Durham presently or Nebraska?

Sorry. As regards your first point, Banks advise that customers abroad should transact at the currency of the nation in which they reside.

Now, this means for certain, my dollar denominated card linked to my USD domiciliary account would certainly work especially in the U.S. I just have to fund my domiciliary account here with dollar cash. Shikena.

with the new cbn directive, im telling yyou tthat wont work. confirm with ur banK

That's not a problem na. Shey you mean a dollar denominated card. So I still have to get dollar cash, and fund the card. Or do you mean something else?
Its not a problem, I was only saying its a better alternative since BTA seems not to be sure. Fund in naira card Na and use it abroad.

Ok. This is quite trickish. You can go like this: Basically, I have grown to love teaching and kids. A major part of my undergraduate courses is in biology and sciences. I plan to be highly skilled child educator especially in the sciences. Interest in design, innovation and inventions should be learned as kids if we wanna develop Nigeria's technology

they have transferred the payment and updated my record. It looks like I might not need to re-appear at the embassy as mentioned by AbujaNIV. but thats still not clear to me

That's awesome bro that the fee got transferred!

At this point I'm not so sure if you need another visa or not that bears the new sevis number because the current one on your visa is different from the sevis number on your I-20. Like during my time I didn't want to take any chances like inconsistency issues at the POE so I had my school resend me my I20 bearing the sevis number as is on my visa, because there was time and I wasn't in a hurry. If other people formerly in your shoes were able to successfully get through the POE without any issues, I doubt you would have any issues.

I see no correlation between early childhood education and science. Early childhood stage according to Piaget in human development psychology is a preoperational stage when children use their mental ability to represent events and objects in various ways like using gesture, symbols and so on and thus their logical reasoning are not yet organized or developed. So science at this stage is not things of preoperational kids.

As per the issue at hand, he/she has to know what early childhood is and come up with good reasons why leaving an applied science for wanting to teach children around age 2.

Bros, what you have just described is science. Science is exploratory and discovery. An early childhood educator has to stimulate the child creative ability. In a way, art is science.

If his undergraduate course has nothing to do with admitted course, they wouldn't consider him for admission. Moreso, early childhood education goes beyond 2 yrs even at 8, we are still talking about early childhood education. Let me google science and early childhood education and see what I get:

Before coming I only have 2nd hand idea about research. When I got here and I met him, he told me about his research work and publications. Then he divided the research into 5 areas (definitely areas he needs student researchers), so I chose mutagenesis. From here I started reading about the area, he also provided lots of related work and finally we suggested topic and the research began. Supervisor will want you to choose areas within his research. Any papers published go to both of you.

Thanks bro. I thought research started from day one and I had to have a clear cut idea of what I wanted to do before meeting the profs. Will just get to school early so I can speak to them.

This is U.S where any body can become a MD. You shouldn't be thrilled if a scientist is accepted for education in U.S. However, I hope you see where I said according to Piaget whose theories most developmental psychologists accept. The other school of thought, which based on psychoanalysis believe cognitive development starts early than Piaget thoughts, reason why the word "MUST" is used in contrast to the believe that science should be optional at that stage.

Preoperational stage is from 2 to 7 and 7 to 11 is concrete-operational stage which is Middle childhood. I'm not here to start any argument. What I said is based on my knowledge of human development which I'm taking this semester and which solely based on Piaget and Erikson theories, which say cognitive development in science and complex mathematics are things of the next stage.

And if you care to learn too, watch this
www.youtube.com/watch?v=pH35cBLQJ24

Early childhood kids exhibit ego centrism, have no theory of mind and have no sense of conservation let alone learning science. Question is why the writer says "all of the money is being poured into middle and high school STEM initiatives" in the last paragraph? Because government don't waste money on such thing.

As far as I am concerned, there is no Cbn rule(s) that stops the use of $-domicile cards in US,I still used my domicilary account card to pay more than $6k tuition balance this semester with no restrictions except annoying hidden charges..so if any of y'all coming here can load ur domicilary account with $, u will be fine with payments here.

Disclaimer: my $ card is domicile with Standard Chartered bank,I don't know about other banks.
