Some states owe up to 3 years. Paying half salary or 20% doesn't add up. Well, Osun is technically owing more than the said 3 months. And wtf has Bayelsa been doing with their money to be owing up to 5 months.

Could it not be partly because of the insurgency in the North East meaning that in many places there are no workers to pay because of internal displacement of a significant proportion of the workforce?
Dollyak:
The Northernern states are the only region not owing their workers. This shows the Northern states are getting wayy more funds than they need. They are surely not smarter or 'holier' than the southern governors. SW needs to demand for regionalism. It doesn't help SE and SW leaders are also corrupt.

Akuko! You this village champion, you are so full of it. Upon say Akure folks humiliated your people they still want to die there! rather than return to the East. Y Dem no vex relocate? Even for Ibadan Dem dey drag title. Who patronizes your traders if not their Yoruba hosts. I know an Akure-based Igbo guy who is not ashamed to admit that he will rather die in Yorubaland than relocate to the East. A Yoruba man would never be caught saying such. But I can understand why some of your people may feel that way -- na because your region isn't economically viable enough to keep them there. undecided

I read some comments from Igbos here and I laugh! It is very clear that Igbos are intimidated by the Yorubas; they hold so deep a grudge, envy and hatred to the point that any little 'negatives' from the Southwest gives them orgasm. See how some insolent and timid Igbos are celebrating the fact that Yoruba states are owing, while the Southeast is a geographical mess. Idiot even called Yorubas almajiris, he forgot that his land is currently being ravaged by the original almajiris...the only time I will start taking Igbos serious is when they pack their belongings and leave Lagos and the entire Southwest for their red dust republic...until then, sharaaaaaap! Ndi iberibe!

I guess you now feel better after venting your tribal sentiment.

Let's attack our common enemies, the Polithiefians and not ourselves.

Tribalism is a veritable tool in their hands to divide the ruled. While the rulers from all divides wine and dine together.

The wise learns and becomes wiser.
